From the outside the store does not look very big but once you go in it is a very big store. There are lots of clothes and stuff to buy here.

Bought a souvenir sweatshirt here. I loved it, it looked great. It was warm, soft and cozy when I tried it on. I washed it once and it came apart in the wash. My machine was filled with an extraordinary amount of fuzz from the sweatshirt. It's like all the lining came right off. If you hold it up to the light, now you can see through it. So disappointed. What a ripoff.

I'll make this quick and simple because life's too short for an autobiographical review. ??You see the man in the picture? This store was just another store until he showed up. He made sure my wife and I were assisted with what we needed. He answered all of our questions about the merchandise really well. ?Shop here for things such as sweaters, magnets for your refrigerator, and more. ✅Enjoy! ?? Feel free to follow. ?

It's a nice store that's rather large when compared to other souvenir stores on the island. Filled with jackets, hats, sweaters, hoodies, T-shirts, pens, bracelets, tote bags & various other souvenirs to choose from. I was a tourist on the island. Doing a lot of shopping & in a really really good mood. so I know I didn't personally do anything to upset the unpleasant cashier with the horrible customer service. I'm not quite sure if she's an employee or the owner. But what I am sure of is the fact that tourism generates a significantly large amount of revenue for the island. So with that being said, the next time a customer enters your store it's OK to greet them. When they're at the register buying their items it's OK to smile for (at the very least) a second or two. So once the transaction is complete, just after you hand them their change & receipt. But before they walk away they say bye. It's OK to respond back. With something like... bye, see you later, have a nice day, thanks for stopping, stop by anytime, tell a friend, y'all come back now ya here. SOMETHING. And if the lady in question that I will only refer to as "the unpleasant one" ever reads this... CONGRATULATIONS!. You have officially complete my extremely brief etiquette 101 course. Your welcome :)

I got my girlfriend a really cute hoodie with Avalon on the right sleeve. The letters started peeling in less than a week. Cute hoodie, high price, questionable quality.

I’m so upset! I bought a $40 and some change hoodie and washed it inside out and when I took it out the letters and images were peeling one by one! I haven’t even worn it. Super over priced and super bad quality. I have a almost $50 plain black hoodie now. And it’s funny because the day we were checking out the lady in front was asking the owner himself (old balding guy) if she can wash and dry as normal and his products won’t shrink and he had the rudest answer “well you keep zapping anything in heat it’ll shrink eventually” um ok? My husband and I just looked at eachother and the poor lady was just like ok..and paid. We should of just left. We won’t be returning

For the price on authentic shirts and hats especially on the island! $28-$30 a pop! Fair good price, I expected about $50-$60! And along a souvenir bag with it! My woman got me the alcohol flask with the Catalina island logo on it! Freaking awesome!!!

I have traveled to Avalon annually for the last few years and always stop into Island Threadz. I won’t be able to visit this year, but wanted some items that they sell. I contacted the store and John arranged to have the items shipped to me! What great customer service! Thank you John!

I wanted a souvenir before I left the island. I was looking for a cute bag to take home. Since Covid I make sure I read EVERY SIGN to make sure I follow guidelines and since I'm vaccinated I make sure I need my mask on or off. This particular store had no signs about eating. I totally looked. I was finishing off my oh so delicious ice cream cone when I walked in. I was already looking around till suddenly the cashier yelled and told me to get out and whatever else she said under her mask I didn't understand at all. However I figured it was because of my ice cream and not my skin tone. I HOPE. It was stated so rudely and totally embarrassing when she yelled for me to leave the store. Every customer looked at me and I was really embarrassed and confused. The COREECT way to speak to a customer is to wait till you have your line down and POLITELY walk up to me and tell me whatever it was that was stated under the mask. First time on Catalina Island so this was not the welcome I was expecting. I probably will never return back to this store EVER!

We ALWAYS stop at Island Threadz. Best souvenir t-shirt shop on the planet. Cubs attire also. MUST STOP if you are on the island. T-shirts, sweatshirts and pants, hats and caps, and souvenir items galore.
