“On Tuesday, December 23rd, I was 3 hours away from family - practically in the middle of nowhere - when my engine began overheating. I sought the aid of Tom and he discovered my coolant hose had disconnected from the engine. He said the hose would need to be replaced by a dealership or the part would need to be ordered and arrive on Friday - this meant they would need to use an alternative solution in order to get me back on the road and home in time for Christmas. Tom called his friend - a mechanic's mechanic - who went to the local car store to buy alternative items for a good enough repair long enough for me to continue traveling and fix the problem later after Christmas vacation. i was charged about $340 for the service and parts. I'm grateful for Tom's help in saving my Christmas.”
