I purchased two rebuilt dispensers from Chris and Pete at Blue Steel, the dispensers never worked correctly from day 1. Chris at Blue Steel refused to help, I found out most reputable service maintenance companies I called would not even attempt to repair a dispenser rebuilt by Chris at Blue Steel. The pumps were a total loss, I have them in my storage, it will cost me even more money to dispose of them. Chris was extremely rude and dishonest to me, I decided the best solution was to get far away from this company. When I notice the other bad reviews, I felt obligated to tell my experience. I did not seek any recourse against Blue Steel, unfortunately, I had to pass the loss on to my customers by raising my fuel pricing.

The worst company to deal with and dishonest , I bought 4 Wayne ovation pumps , they came damaged and they have no insurance to cover the damages . Be careful in the shipping box they print theword FOB in small letters to shift the liability on the buyer .

I bought 4 pump from blue steel. everything not working and trouble a lot. they send part but it is broken part again and they not answer the phone. I paid about $40K for 4 pumps and i still spend Money for fixing the pump with local technician. The technician said blue steel pump are have a lot of problem all the time. DO NOT BUY JUNK PUMP.. WE NEED USED PUMP NOT JUNK..

I purchased 4 pumps from Blue Steel. On arrival, all were non functional (DOA), my tech had to spend hours and hours trouble shooting the pumps and telling BSC what parts are bad. I incurred thousands of dollars of labor cost. It has been three weeks, we still have two pumps that are not accepting credit cards. Here are some of the items that were bad. These were DOA (dead on arrival). 1. Pin Pads 2. Bad screens, most of them 3. No Keys 4. IX Board, had water damage on it. Two boards were bad on arrival 5. No SD cards in IX Boards, wonder how they tested the pumps 6. Manifolds 7. Missing pin from the manifolds. 8. Safety bolts missing. Clear violation of California safety laws. 9. Tech found parts in the pumps that did not belong to the Ovation model. The part was from Vista 2 Pump (over two decades old technology) They are not Wayne certified. Seems like they hire guys off the street to put these things together and sell them. So you can hire a certified tech and get all the parts fixed. Not sure if they are Gilbarco certified of not. (I had to wait for the part via UPS Ground, and you would have to pay for the replacement part upfront). They say they give you 90 day warranty on parts, but you will be paying through your nose to have someone tell them what parts are bad so they can replace them. This is their way of selling the pumps without having to pay for a certified tech to put them together. They cancelled the warranty because they had to replace too many bad parts. Now I am on my own. After replacing few parts, They might or might not credit you back. If I were you, I would ask them to put on the contract "PUMPS WILL BE IN WORKING ORDER WHEN RECEIVED. IF NOT BLUE STEEL WOULD HAVE TO SEND A TECH TO MAKE THEM WORK." Be aware... THESE ARE THE FACTS

Blue Steel = liars and con-artists. I have 25 years of petroleum business experience and I have never encountered a company that breaks its promises over and over again like Blue Steel. I would never recommend buying from this company. If you are considering doing business with them - Don't do it! The dispensers they sold us were junk and they have refused to call back or even answer emails.
