Glad I found this location as many other fantastic Sam’s locations have closed. This is now my go to place nearby for a haircut. Great staff. Definitely recommend this local hair salon.

Took my 4 year old to get a few knots out her hair and the lady looked at it didn’t even attempt to remove any of it even put her hands through it and said nope I ain’t doing it, i just didn’t have the right stuff to do it, i went purchased them and i was done in 20 minutes, that was so unprofessional to me will never take anyone there again!

I'm going to try to say this in the nicest way possible. My brother went in for a haircut a couple days ago and they left him looking horrible. I'm not going to lie I can't stop making fun of him because of how bad it is He said he was on the verge of crying as soon as he left the shop. He asked for a taper and this no where near a taper. He was desperate for a haircut because we're having a surprise birthday party for our mom so he decided to give them a chance but turns out this was a costly decision as he doesn't even want to get in the family pictures to celebrate our mom. One thing is for sure is he is never going back.

I've come to this place a few times in the past. The place has never been very clean looking and i don't think they've ever had a working AC. But they were generally pretty quick to see me. I often still had a wait despite making appointments. But the haircut was cheap. Today was the worst though. I called at 10 am and was told to come in for appointment at 2.I get there to see the door has been smashed glass bits still on the floor. Like usual, no AC. I feel a bit uncomfortable because the place comes off as even more run down now. I sign in and mention my appointment at 2. I just get a yes ok and take a seat. I watch as 1 person is finished. Then I see the lady who I recognize as the person who took my appointment go and fetch a little girl who seems to be her daughter.I wait and wait as she tends to the girl's hair then takes time to talk to a worker who has come to fix the door. Then go back to the girl. A stranger comes and starts sweeping the glass on the floor with his shirt. At this point i feel pretty ready to leave as is already been 30 minutes. The lady shoos the stranger away and goes back to her daughter. She looks to me and goes "oh what were you here for again?" I sigh and tell her "a hair cut." I motion to my undercut. I really just wanted it buzzed 000 a process that takes maybe 10 minutes if that. She goes "oh OK" then goes back to working on the girl. 245 some others come in now potentially more appointments and i decide its not worth my time as she seems to care about doing her daughter's hair then tending to customers.I cross my name off and warn the next customers i waited 45 minutes then leave.I've been to other fantastic Sam's before and they usual are much cleaner, have AC and have waaaaaaay better customer service. Don't waste your time or money. Treat yourself to a place that isn't run down and will actually see you on time.

I had an appointment to get a haircut yesterday at 11:00am , I chose this location because of convenience, despite having bad experiences here before I decided to to try it again. I showed the stylist many different reference photos and she messed up my bangs so bad. She asked me to show her the reference picture AFTER she butchered my bangs and said "Oh it doesn't look like that does it", I figured I wouldn't say anything and there was no way she would leave my hair like that but she actually left my bangs terrible and uneven, nothing close to the picture. It's like she didn't even try to fix her mistake. my bangs aren't blended in with my hair it's like I have two chunks of hair hanging on my face. at the end it felt as if she was just trying to get me out of the chair so she could take her next appointment . I don't recommend anyone come here I've been here three different times this within the last year and they always leave me feeling disappointed. She seemed more worried about getting her appointments done than the way she left my hair. This place should be rated way lower

I genuinely don't see how this location has 4 stars. My daughter and I walked in at 12:12 no appointment so I knew I'd wait a little. There were 2 stylists trying to juggle three cuts and colors. So I knew since people were getting color (mind you they were already under the dryers) there would be a bit of a wait. We were not greeted when we walked in or even asked what we needed. Still I've grown patient in my older age and just sat down quietly. It is now 1:30 and still no greeting or even any sign they knew we were there. At this point one color is done and one stylist takes the man waiting before us. Then 2 women walk in and sit. 2nd stylist is done and asks my daughter if she was next we said yes, but then the two women speak up and say we had an appt at 11:30. Mind you they strolled in at 1:30 !!! The stylist then proceeded to tell my daughter to sit back down and wait while she took the appt. Still no apology or even acknowledgment that we have been here waiting patiently now going on 3 hours while they keep answering the phones telling callers it's only about a 30min wait. So I made sure to let them know as they walked in that I've been waiting 3 hours so all those customers left (5 of them and I don't feel bad for being the cause of it) it is now 3:27pm and they have yet to even apologize or offer us some water or even look our way for that matter. Please keep your money and don't waste your precious time coming here. From what I gather unless you know "Maggie" and are a regular they don't seem to care about the customers at all. At this point although it's a textbook fallacy I will stay on principle and make sure they hear of the unpleasant experience I've sat through , whether they want to or not. To the owner of this location. DO BETTER.

I've been coming here for over 10 years and my friends and family come her also. Maggie, always welcomes me with a smile and always goes above and beyond for people. She cuts my hair all the time and I have never left disappointed. Elizabeth is amazing with color, like to the point where I wanted to bleach and dye my hair for an event and wanted a color that they don't have because I like being difficult BUT she did some magical science mixology with the toner and made the color! It came out simply perfect to what I wanted. There has never been a day that I went and didn't leave with out smiling, and not because I got a great cut or color but because of the service. One thing I did want to add is that I read a few reviews and I was actually there for one of the negative ones. YES they get busy and that is because they have loyal clients that know to make an appointment. when you can try to make an appointment. One reviewer said they had to wait because an appointment came it and gave a bad review..... are you really gonna get mad that you came without an appointment and someone that did make one gets put in front of you? They called, and made the appointment... like put that situation with another place like the DMV, you cant just walk up and be like I was here before the appointment...and also why are you judging their lives based off of you giving attitude, before you came and even after you left they were laughing and smiling, and I know they wont say this but I will, I was the reason why it was taking too long, The girl that was supposed to cut your hair was rinsing my hair and said she was going to cut the other persons hair as I was getting a treatment, I brought product in and asked about it, and if she can use it, and she was checking and said yes (which they didn't have to but like I this crew of stylist always seem to go above and beyond for their clients) when you got up and left. Also the whole cleaning thing the reason you didn't she the brush off and the spray cleaner being used is because Maggie being mindful of people crouched down and did it because I had my drink and my food(wasn't opened food) on the little counter in front of the seats. I'm not sure what game these "stylists" are playing at if you can even call them that. It is clear these women are miserable with their lives due to the complete disdain and attitude that was shown to me upon my visit. Waited 35 minutes for a hair cut only to be told I'd have to wait longer because an appointment came in. I told the woman she should have told me she had an appointment because I wouldn't have waited. So instead of taking me she takes the appointment and then tells me I have to wait for the other client to be done - 2 minutes at the most she said. I waited another 10 minutes and I left only to be chased out because they were begging me to stay. No thanks!! Disgusting business Too I did NOT see the woman cleaning any tools after her hair cut she used the same dirty clippers on the appointment who came in. I will be calling THE BOARD OF COSMETOLOGY
