I felt very safe in there store (they didn't let anyone else in while we were doing our exchange), and the owner even walked me back to my car! Great place!”

I also wanted to address some of the negative reviews I've seen about Alamo, which I think are unfair. When you bring items to a pawn shop, you can't expect to get the full price you paid for them. For example, if you bought something for $100 new, you won’t get $100 for it at a pawn shop—this is a business, and they need to make a profit too. If you want full price for your items, try selling them on eBay or Offer Up. If you don’t like the price they offer, just take your stuff back and go elsewhere; there's no obligation to sell if you're not happy with the offer. Things change, and they might not take older items like cameras from the '80s unless they have value. Nobody wants to buy old junk! ? Anyway, before anyone assumes I work here—I don’t. Just wanted to share my honest, positive experience with these guys.”

“I usually don't do reviews but today I came on to get this number to refer a family member and saw the reviews. I'm really shocked , I've been going to this shop for years and never had a problem. I have had several items that I have pawned all jewelery never a issue at all. infact I had an issue with a lost ticket and the owner helped me out with no problem . I have this one necklace that I have taken several times when the price of gold went down so did what it was worth to pawn, But he said don't worry I'm going to still give you what you usually get don't worry about it. this list of generous gestures goes on. yes, initally they are not the most talkative people and they are about buisness. however, we have had many conversations business related and not. People you have to remember that the energy you give off will sometimes have an effect on the person in front of you... Again, to Pasadena Pawn Shop, I appreciate the service you provide”
