My maltipoo was vomiting and had severe diarrhea. Dr Ryan did blood work, gave me the results to take with me. Dispensed meds to stop vomiting and anitbiotic for stomach upset. He also gave injection to stop nausea. He was very patient and listened. My lil dog felt better the next day. Important part is they are open after 5 pm to later in the day.

Ive been going to Dr Ryan for years now.AMAZING!!!! His gentle and compationate way with my 1st dog nd now my new baby he is the best vet evee!! I drive from Palm springs area wouldn't even think of going to a Vet here. crazy prices.If you need a vet Dr Ryan is it. also Dr Greenhouse is vety good.I will keep going to BV as long as i have animals.

To Dr Ryan and only Dr Ryan-1st I have been a client for many years-always was seen by your father-a truly wonderful man-Buddy had his yearly dental cleaning 2/24/2022-told the vet he had beginnings of collapsed trachea-verified when saw former Dr Riya-Dr Barkley prescribed Hycoden cough syrup-with 5 refills-attempted refill on June 7th and again Sept 7th-finally spoke with office-showed no requests. (Did online). Then was informed Buddy had to be seen b4 refill approval. Buddy fine except occasional cough-am on fixed income-cannot afford to come in for "wellness check". Am hoping u will read this and approve refill. Rx#332985. Thank u for your time

I think it is time that customers of the VCA get together to talk about a class action lawsuit against the VCA for their role in killing people pet's or neglecting them; especially on weekends. These bad actors have been pretending that they are a 24/7 emergency hospital. The problem is that they do not utilize the same equipment that their doctor's use on patients during weekdays. Equipment their own doctors on weekdays claim is imperative to the survival of critical condition patients. They purposefully withhold the use of such equipment as the CT scan on weekends and when their patient's need it the most; they play a different tune and tell people they must put their pets down. I have witnessed this first hand with 2 pets. My Boy had to be put down because they said there was nothing they could do; because their emergency department only used the CT scan on weekdays. Does the VCA emergency have the right to decide whether weekend emergencies are less important than weekday emergencies? They clearly think they do. Here is my you tube channel. For the last 4 months of my dog's life here are 50 videos I have made and he was a healthy beautiful boy. He ended up in the VCA emergency and because they don't use the CT Scan on weekends. they told me there was nothing they could do. I know my Boy was not the only victim of this organizations BS.

I would not recommend you contact them to arrange an appointment. I tried to make an appointment for my dog and made the request on line. No one called me back or emailed me to confirm my appointment. I tried to contact the office by phone and was put on hold. I was told I was #4 on line. After 25 minutes I just hung up. Trying to make an appointment should not be so difficult.

Feel like we got scammed. Brought our two dogs in for teeth cleaning. Asked them to call me if there were any further issues. There call was missed but I immediately called back. They hung up on me five times and went ahead with doing additional work on my dogs. The simple cleaning turned into a bill for almost $1400. When I tried to show the lady at desk my call log of five calls that they hung up on, she didn't care and said it wasn't their problem. I asked who runs a business this way? When they brought one of my dogs out they had their leash in one hand and the other was a blue rope that was noosed and choking my dog. They also messed up the medication and almost gave tranquilizers to my pet. Whole experience was bad, first and last time going

Absolutely the best Vet I've ever had. Clean, well run, efficient and prices beat everyone for miles around. They have saved me thousands and got me through the deaths of two elderly pets with care and concern. I don't go any place else.

Like several, been coming here for years with 3 dogs. Recently curtailed 2 of them, but had two appoints with my 3rd over the last few months and they were the last time for me at this clinic! Everyone says it, the staff knows it, and they just don't care. Like others, the vets are quite good, but office staff and techs are hit n miss, and lately mostly miss! Narissa this time is responsible for me getting my complete file printed and not returning here again. There are too many options of hood animal clinics that aren't snarky, curt and sometimes rude. And yes, phone calls take forever. So then you leave a message through the website - worse, it goes unanswered. So this bow wow says buh-bye!!

I have been going here for about 6 years. Today was the last time. First off, to get the appointment, I had to drive there. Secondly, I have a dog who has to be medicated to take anywhere. Today I went in for our appointment. I sat in a room for 45 min. with 2 dogs crying and chewing with anxiety . The vet came in 30 min later to tell me they had fevers and we would have to wait to give them the kennel cough liquid. Well its hot, it took me 15 minuts to get them in the car, they were stressed because of the wait and you expect me to continue to wait longer. Unprofessional. I will find anoter vet or if I have to take them back to Upland to be seen. Never again.

We were getting ready to leave town when my dog got a crazy itching problem, he gets every year. At the last minute before leaving town Ashley found time to speak to the doctor , and get his meds ready asap. We couldn't leave town the way he was. She saved us a lot of problems. We are so grateful!!! Thank you Ashley.
