We highly recommend this place. We broke down in Ludlow on our way to Carlesbad with our toddler. We called several places and Kevin was the first to say he would be willing to work on our van and gave us the details we needed to plan our unscheduled night in Barstow. He explained everything thoroughly and ordered parts at risk to help us get going as fast as possible so that we could still enjoy our weekend trip. He also went above and beyond and gave our family a ride to a hotel he recommended, which was great. He really helped us out when we were in a tough spot and got us back on the road in less than 24 hours and the car is running great!

We were a couple of tired travelers having just made it across the East Cali desert on 120° summer day. We pulled off in Barstow to get fuel. The coolant dumped all over the asphalt. We knew we couldn’t go any further. We were in a 1 ton diesel, not everybody works on those.I called four places and finally got a referral to Elite Auto and Fleet. I spoke to Kevin there and he said yes, we can fix that, but we don’t have any openings until tomorrow morning. We asked him to put us on the schedule. We knew we didn’t have any other options. About a half an hour later he called and said he could see us at 2 PM. We were overjoyed.He diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and had us back on the road by 4:30 PM the same day! He said he thought about our predicament and knew exactly how we felt. He really did us a turn by squeezing us in. I cannot recommend this auto shop highly enough!

Phenomenal service! I was passing through on a trip to San Diego and my check engine light started flashing. I called the dealership in town and they were days out from even being able to look at my car. Elite Auto and Fleet, however, were very understanding of my situation and not only looked at my car but were able to fix it in the same day. I was blown away by their efficiency and willingness to help. There was no hassle and they did an excellent job. I highly recommend them!

Just east of Barstow on 1/6/22 my Chevy 3500 ate it’s serpentine belt. Considering I was pulling a 10,000 pound trailer with 1600 pounds of Harleys in the bed, losing power steering & brakes was scary. Got turned around & found Elite Auto. Kevin & the crew had me back on the road in 60 minutes!Absolutely amazing.

Had an injector fail on my way through Barstow and brought it by the ford dealership for them to tell me they can’t fix it, took it across the street to these guys and Kevin got me in right away! Great customer service and all around nice guys! 10/10 would recommend

WOW!! Steve and crew fixed my diesel truck and had us back on the road faster than ANY repair shop I’ve EVER seen!!! Absolutely mind blown by how good these guys are!! If anyone breaks down in the Barstow area THESE GUYS WILL GET YOU GOING!!!

Our turbo boot on our 2012 F250 blew apart. My husband called Elite Auto & Fleet (talked to Kevin) and they were closing soon but suggested having us towed to his lot by ARC Towing (fantastic themselves). Kevin looked at our truck the next morning and we had to have the part shipped from Pennsylvania. Kevin received the part around 11am and called us to pick up the truck around noon, after he had driven the truck and verified all was good to go. Kevin is a TERRIFIC MECHANIC AND PERSON.
