The Mojave National Preserve Headquarters offers a welcoming and informative experience for visitors. Staff are friendly and eager to help, with one ranger being particularly engaging and helpful. The visitor center features a nice diorama of the surrounding area, making it a great spot to get National Park stamps while other locations are being renovated. The restrooms are very clean, and visitors can enjoy valuable information about the preserve’s sites, including Lava Tube, Kelso Dunes, and Mitchell Caverns. Overall, it is a must-see spot for National Park fans.

Small but very informative lobby. Lots of photos, maps, information and a diorama of the area. Very nice staff. They were open at 3pm on a Thursday despite the severe staffing challenges they have. The BLM office next door was closed.

Staff was super friendly and informative. There is a nice diorama of the area surrounding the Mojave Preserve so a great place to get your National Park stamps while they are renovating their other locations.

They were very helpful. More so than BLM field offices.
