What a waste of time, I stood in line to purchase a Marvel Legend figure. And was next to be help , but the employee a young lady kept trying to up sale the customer. As I waited and waited I picked up another figure. But she didn't care about the big line now . She just kept doing the sake and bs ing . While she finished and was ready to help me I told her if she could give me a small discount for waiting so long . She got defensive, I got upset and said forget my purchase and I'm going to give a bad review and shop at amazon from now on . Very bad customer service.

I went into the GameStop in Beaumont, CA today with the intention to purchase Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and I thought I would take a look at the Switch games to see what they have first. I was approached by Blaine (I believe that is his name). He was a balding and older white guy. He asked me if I was looking for anything in particular and I replied to him that I was just looking around for now. I later went up to the counter to ask him about Final Fantasy VII. He rudely responded with "Yes, we do but NOT FOR THE SWITCH," when I never even said anything about the Switch to him. He then proceeded to tell me that he can't sell me the Deluxe Edition. Again, I never asked him anything about the Deluxe Edition, but since he mentioned it, I decided to ask him about what came with the deluxe edition. He seemed very annoyed and angry at me after I asked him that question. He looked up the info for me and then proceeded to remind me in an angry tone that he cannot sell it to me! Again, I never said anything to him about me wanting to buy the deluxe edition. I remained calm and I told him I'll take the standard edition. As he was ringing me up for the standard edition, I let him know that I wanted to use my $5 monthly reward since I am a Pro Member. He straight out lied to me by telling me that I don't have a $5 monthly reward. He said it won't renew until tomorrow (March 1st) because today is leap year. I thought what he said was odd because I haven't even used my $5 monthly reward for the month of February! Honestly, I think he's just trying to meet his sales quota by not giving me my $5 reward. Anyway, I couldn't stand his rudeness any longer. I told him to cancel the transaction. He was a very aggressive and rude person. He makes the DMV workers look like saints and he also makes me not want to return to GameStop. He tried to tell me that he means no disrespect but the damage has been done. I told him it isn't his fault and I left GameStop to get the game from Walmart instead. Based on this experience, I do not recommend the Beaumont GameStop. Zero stars!

The girls there were very helpful, very nice girls that helped us . Very honest about what we should do . I would go back there if I needed help.

Always trying to upsell sales rep told me if I purchased the pro membership with the 2 Xboxes I was buying that I would earn points 11000 of them with are redeemable for cash in store. She failed to explain the rest. 11000 points for spending $640 got me $10 in store or online "cash" that can (only) be used on tshirts or physical disk games nothing else ps my consoles are all digital go to Best buy the return policy service and over all experience is better

The experience was great but the way what I assume was the manger was acting toward her employee was disgusting. She was blatantly targeting him due to his race and even called him slurs about how he was dressed. It was repulsive as I am from Mexican decent as well. He even asked for help due to the busyness in the store and she yelled at him that she will not help, as she sat on her phone.

Jalen went above and beyond to assist me with my purchase this morning. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and spent extra time explaining things that I didn't understand with patience and professionalism.

Went in to purchase a game for my grandchildren that was priced $39.99, when I was paying at the register the game price rang up at $59.99! I spotted it and insisted that since it was priced at $39.99 I shouldn't be charged $20 more because someone didn't remove the "correct sticker price". The girl at the register called the owner and they refused to honor the sticker price! Look carefully before you enter your credit card because you're probably going to be ripped off!

The sales associates were very friendly and helpful. They had a good variety of video games, accessories, figurines, etc. The store was organized and clean. Will be returning in the future now that my son has a Nintendo Switch.
