Recently I brought my MacBook Air to Beaumont store because it had completely crashed. After a couple days Geek squad member told me that there was nothing that could be done to repair my computer and that all my data EVERYTHING was not recoverable. I asked did you look at the hard drive? Are you absolutely sure data not recoverable. The answer was "yes." It was suggested I would need a new computer. After shopping in the store, I decided I would take my Mac to a repair shop I've used several times in the past, Quality Computer in Chino Hills, where I've always had excellent results. Store owner, Peter, called me six hours after I dropped off my computer and told me that he removed and repaired the hard drive, and MY DATA WAS RECOVERED. I was thrilled to have my fully operational MAC back. But, that left me very disappointed with the service of the Geek Squad expert. Why couldn't the Get Squad expert find the problem and fix it? I saved well over $1500 NOT having to purchase another computer.

I took my phone in for a repair, geek squad, messed it up,I returned they didn’t want to do nothing just had me call corporate. Corporate rescheduled me with geek squad. Went in for a third time. And they basically told me my phone is messed up. I need a new one and just told me to go to Apple. Apple help me out and cover the repair. This Best Buy does sloppy jobs save yourself a headache and go anywhere else! Forgot to mention, my phone was falling apart when they returned it as well.. is geek squad takes no responsibility or covers their work.

Phone service routed me in wrong direction twice. Once i got a tech on the line got answers almost imediately finding they dont do the work i needed themselves. That was 5 of 5 rating for the tech, 1 of 5 for the first two folks i spoke with.

Don’t buy from Best Buy and while getting a guarantee on your product. They won’t take the time to fix your product or problem. The Beaumont geek squad is just run by young spoiled, lazy and still live with their parents teens. They won’t take their jobs seriously or They won’t return your calls or even try to fix the problem. You call them to fix it and they will direct you to a 3rd party! Beaumont spoiled brats are the problem in this city.

They are the worst! I signed up for their 1 year tech support service for 1 year at a cost of $199.99. I needed tech support for a Microsoft Office problem. They said a tech person would log on to my computer in 3 hours. The tech person logged on and did not fix the problem. So I called back and then they said it would be another 3 hours till a tech person could call me again to fix the problem. Well its now over 6 hours and I am still weighting.Poor quality of service and poor service. I feel like I wasted $200 bucks since I spent over nine hours of my time waiting for nothing.
