We hired Julie's In-Home Care to care for my 88-year-old grandmother recovering from a surgery. While the agency is licensed, I don't find any evidence of the caregiver she sent to the home is certified in any way. She allowed a person convicted of a violent offense to be one of the caregivers, while on her Yelp she claims all caregivers are carefully screened. Surely, she would have known he isn't registered as a caregiver with the State of California. This person ended up writing over $10,000 in fraudulent checks from my grandmother's account that he repeatedly had her sign. He very much took advantage of her diminished memory. When questioned by police, he claimed the money was a loan, but has yet to return the entirety of it. I also was informed that he had females spend the night after my grandma went to sleep and consumed alcohol while dining out with her on the clock.

Julie visited with me before my hip surgery in earlier November 2020. She was able to put together an in home flexible service plan to help me during my recovery with the right staff & price. Moses was great in preparing meals, med management, exercising assistance and personal hygiene care. Within a week I was able to take care of myself with help from my wife. Very professional, definitely recommend and would use again in the future.

I contacted Julie when my mother was hospitalized and it became obvious that she would need 24hr a day care if she were going to go back to her home afterward. My mother had extensive cancer and was nearing the end of her struggle and I had promised her that I would do everything in my power to insure that when her time came, she would go home to her Lord in her own home and not in a facility. That was very important to her. Julie's In Home Care made it possible for me to insure that she would be able to do that. I found Julie to be one of the most genuine and caring people I have ever met and her caregivers are just as impressive. They all treated my mother like their own and took very good care of her. It gave me peace of mind to know that she was in such good hands, especially during the night time hours. Make no mistake, 24/7 in home care is very expensive, but my mother was worth it. Her last 9 days on this earth were made a lot more comfortable thanks to Julie and her caregivers. They did so much for my mother and also for me by helping out with going through things like her fridge, canned goods and other things as well as feeding her and giving her very gentle and loving care. This allowed me to focus on other issues. I was able to leave the house on numerous errands and to take care of legal and banking issues without worry about my mom's care. Julie herself was so kind and willing to help where ever possible. She brought me boxes to help with going through my mom's belongings and she even took one that would not fit in my vehicle to the UPS store for me to ship it home. She was always available and easy to contact. It may be possible to find a caregiver in the area for a little less expense, but I don't think you could find one that provides better care and has better employees. She was well worth it. I could not recommend Julie's In Home Care any more highly. She and her caregivers are real gems!
