The sensor was replaced and resolved my issue on my car, I had the Transmission fluid drained. The service cost for the work done on the Transmission was very reasonable and done correctly. Leo is a pro in his occupation and honest when it comes trouble shooting the issue on the Vehicle. I highly recommend this shop for all your Transmission service needs. “I have a Chevrolet Express. I had a check engine light on, and lack of power. I went to a mechanic shop to check the computer codes: he told me that the problem can be a sensor, or vacuum leak. He was very busy to fix the problem. Then I went to Alexander Auto service, and the guy in charge told me that I had a vacuum leak in the engine. They replace the gasket manifold, and spark plugs in a few days. In this type of vehicle the access of the engine is very complicated. They had to remove the seats and a lot of stuff to replace the gaskets. Now the engine is perfect, and no check engine light. They gave me 90 days warranty on the service. The price that I had to pay was reasonable. I’m happy that I found these guys.I recommend Alexander auto service: quality job and good price.”

“The folks at Japanese Auto Center in Torrance are the best! The first time I went to them I brought in a list of expensive ($8k) recommended repairs from my local dealership in order to get a second opinion. They ended up confirming that about half of the repairs needed to be made, and gave me a very reasonable price to do the work. But another very expensive repair they demonstrated was not necessary, saving me thousands of dollars! I was very grateful and pleased with the results of their work.More recently I visited because my front grille cover had popped off when I hit a curb stop. My car is very low slung and hard to get below without jacking it up, and I wasn’t sure if one of the fasteners had broken or not. I asked them to see if they thought they could reattach it securely, or if I needed to get a new one. They cheerfully went out, quickly reattached the grille cover, and told me that they would not take any money for doing it. So instead, I am paying it back by telling the world what honest mechanics you will find here! It’s such a relief to find great, honest, reasonably priced auto mechanics. I highly recommend Japanese Auto Center.”

“EL MONTE TRANSMISSION! They are honest, professional, and overall great place to get trans work done. I had my gmc Sierra towed from lake Elsinore! That's how much trust this shop. The owner is great, and any questions that I have about my transmission he was able to answer, and actually show me after he drop the transplant how many metal shavings were in the actual pan. He explained out basically my transmission is going out it's gonna need to be repaired... he recommended that but either way he wasn't trying to be pushy salesman. “I have 2007 BMW 5 series which has been sitting in my drive way for 3 years.. being used as a storage. and 2007 Prius, Generation 2 which has problems.. after taking my Prius for an emergency repair which turned out to be the best investment into the car. I asked to take a look at the BMW, we towed it.. they dissected the vehicle and repaired it.. like it has been running everyday. “Amazing shop! La Auto is a great place, I brought my car in to do a quick oil change and they did it lightning fast with no problems. Also had them fix some glitches and bugs I had encountered in the electronics system. The guys really knew what they were doing and got that done too. I have a late model BMW and knowing how to work with it isn't always something any mechanic can do. I had a glitch with the infotainment system which needed special tools and knowledge which they had. Also their shop looks so neat and professional. I could see glimmers of shining new chrome tools tucked away in the drawers! These boys were amazing! 10/10 would absolutely recommend!”

“I had a issue with my 2009 Chevy Impala, my transmission was not going into drive and reserve due to having so much miles over 150k miles, when I called the shop I was able to talk to Chris and his other manager Julian, they were so helpful in communication with the repair process explaining everything that is involved with the transmission Rebuild, and also they provide me with Free towing with no charge at all to my pocket, which was really nice. “I was recommended to Sport transmissions by a family friend and couldn't have been more relieved to have taken my G37 there for what came down to a transmission rebuild.Don and the guys here at sport transmissions were great, gave me a detailed diagnosis of what caused the transmission failure and the options towards repairing it, also was frequently updated on the status of the repair, they even fixed my steering pinion after noticing it wasnt tightened and secured enough, and on top of all that they pressure washed the whip too! It had been sitting for a year so was all extra dusty lol but they had her nice and clean and shifting smooth again, i waited few weeks and hundred miles to properly do a review on their repair too and I can say without a doubt these guys do quality work, definitely recommend going here for anything transmission related, had to hit them up on Facebook initially cause their Line was busy so if you don't have any luck calling the number listed here.”
