I asked to take a look at the BMW, we towed it.. they dissected the vehicle and repaired it.. like it has been running everyday. “Luis, Juan, and Lino are fantastic. A few years back I suspected my old mechanic was ripping me off, so I started calling around. Quantum gave an honest quote, which is why I started going to them, but I found out there were way more reasons to keep coming back.Despite being incredibly busy, they always take the time to explain in detail what's going on with your car. Luis literally stopped to draw me a diagram earlier this week.They are 100% family owned/operated, and I'm not sure if this matters to whoever is reading this, but the general "vibe" in the garage is the best. If you drop by, you'll see what I mean. I've been sabotaging my car for years so I have an excuse to drop in.”

“Amazing shop! La Auto is a great place, I brought my car in to do a quick oil change and they did it lightning fast with no problems. Also had them fix some glitches and bugs I had encountered in the electronics system. The guys really knew what they were doing and got that done too. I have a late model BMW and knowing how to work with it isn't always something any mechanic can do. I had a glitch with the infotainment system which needed special tools and knowledge which they had. Also their shop looks so neat and professional. I could see glimmers of shining new chrome tools tucked away in the drawers! These boys were amazing! 10/10 would absolutely recommend!”

“I had a issue with my 2009 Chevy Impala, my transmission was not going into drive and reserve due to having so much miles over 150k miles, when I called the shop I was able to talk to Chris and his other manager Julian, they were so helpful in communication with the repair process explaining everything that is involved with the transmission Rebuild, and also they provide me with Free towing with no charge at all to my pocket, which was really nice. “Coming here was the best decision I ever made. My exhaust pipe came off its brackets and started dragging while I was on the highway late one night. After calling the mechanic I'd once used for an oil, he told me to find a muffler shop.La Maquina happened to be the closest to me (important since the dragging pipe was hampering my ability to accelerate) and also happened to be the best car service I've ever received.I called ahead to explain the problem and they said they could see me right away that morning (a Friday). Roger, the owner, quickly identified the problem (a broken flex pipe) and offered to attempt to weld the exhaust pipe to the existing flex pipe for $350. He noted that if the welding didn't work, they'd have to replace the whole system, which would have been far more expensive. They told me they'd call me in 3-4 hours.True to their word, I received a call saying my car was ready to be picked up.The welding worked (shout out the welder, Alex!) and Roger even replaced the flex pipe without charging more than we'd agreed. Now, after years of my car being so loud it sets off neighborhood car alarms, it's quieter, smoother, and quicker than it has been in years.I will be coming to La Maquina for as long as I drive cars in LA.Couldn't be happier!Services: Exhaust”
