EVERY time I go, there is a problem. It's just a simple thing. Buying gas, or maybe snacks, or cigarettes. How hard can it be? Geez.. Last nite. I went in to buy donuts, pastry, a cup of coffee, cigarettes. Yes, I keep convince stores and gas stations in business. I ALWAYS get the strawnerry/cream cheese pastry(don't know what they call it) and donuts. They are 2 for $3.00, as well as the donuts. ALWAYS. I usually get them at the AM/PM on paramount blvd cuz they're fresher. (Never a problem there BTW). THEY and I've gotten stale at this place twice. There's a small sign on the door of the case that all this stuff is in with pictures of all the donuts/pastries they keep in that case that says mix and match, 2 for $3.00 I took up 3 pastries, 3 donuts. Dude could only speak a few English words. Usually, they have these small wax looking bags to put this stuff in, but I didn't see any and asked the guy if he had any. He said he could give me a bag for 10 cents. One of the regular grocery type bags. After not being able to make him understand what kind of bag, I gave up, and just carried them up to the register singly (?) I grabbed a small milk, almost $5.00, and asked for cigarettes. He right away told me that the donuts were 2 for $3.00, but they had to be the same kind or they'd be $1.99 each. and that the pastries were $1.99 each. In other words, $12.00 total, instead of $9.00, and charged me for 2 bags cuz before putting the pastries in with the milk. He put them in a separate bag, then. Into the milk bag. A few things I left out was that I showed him the mix and match sign with pictures of everything I was buying, he just couldn't understand and I thought if he rang my items up, it would come up 2 for 3 on the register. When he rang it up to check, he looked very puzzled, and quiet, and shook his head no. It's $1.99 each. Honestly, the look on his face and his actions told me that wasn't true, but I couldn't see his side of the register, right? Anyways, I couldn't work the regular coffee machine and he told me I could only get the cappuccino type and he'd show me how to use it. I declined. I just wanted a regular cup of coffee. Let me stop here and say that the only reason I went in there to begin with was to get the strawberry. cream cheese pastry and so I grabbed them off the top shelf that says strawnerry/ cream cheese pastry (?) Croissant(?) I just grabbed them. Didn't examine them. I didn't have my reading glasses, but I asked for a reciept, that printed out on my side, but not before he tried to hand me some random reciept for what looked to be$7.00 plus change. My brain was exhausted dealing with that guy. I get home, I had apple/cream cheese pastry. I don't like those at all so they are sitting on my counter. Anyone want them? My bad for only reading the sign or not? I looked at the reciept, EVERY SINGLE THING rung up separately... catch is, every single thing says *Reeses pieces* plus. 1 extra reeses, plus 2 bags, when I told him that just the 1 would be fine. The Reeses Pieces were all $1.99 each. My friend said go back, but it's not close and dude couldn't understand or speak in words I understand. I get it that the owners of every convince store, liquor store, fast food, wants to hire people only from their countries. Americans and English speaking are going extinct around here , but how do we communicate? I'm drained with it all.

The iced slush (almost) coffee drinks (with caramel sauce you can add OMFG ???) and salted caramel cookies make ANY negative experience worth it. My car could get jacked and as long as I have a few of each of those items I’m chillin

The Cashier who was working on November 15 at about 2 in the afternoon was HORRIBLE. I bought several drinks and she did not give me a bag and I thought to myself you expect me to carry this. So when I asked her for a bag she laid it on the table and refused to bag it. Her face and demeanor looked like she didn't want to be there. She was completely rude and should not be working in customer service. She does the bare minimum and has a terrible demeanor she should not be helping customers. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

So I been coming here for years and as for gas is concerned they have if not cheep then decent prices tho the lines can get long depending on the time of day you come !Another good thing is that they are open basically all the time 24/7 so if u got the munchy then come on my lolNow the down side is yes some employees can b, let's say not so positive in the morning at least but I understand it's the morning...Now my personal issue was yesterday 25th of Dec which was a Saturday I was going to turn in my super loto stub but accidentally bought 3 number instead of two but it was my fault & she seem didn't knowledge of how the loto works when I ask a question...Anyway when I left I look at the ticket to make sure n I realized that I was miss a dollar cuz I gave a 5 but only got one back or rather their was only a dollar in my pocket so I went back but and told her I only received one dollar but she told me multiple times she gave me 2$...Now I was going to talk to the manger / owner Monday morning but I feel it be a waste of my time n the manager to go in the back to look at the tape and to make sure she indeed gave me proper change back !So what's my overview of ampm!?Decent gas price, open 24/7But...Some employees can be on the not so happy kind of vibe...But Manger / owner are cool tho and most of the staff am cool with...That's my updated overview of this ampm...

Sonny is a TERRIBLE cashier and bad for business. A small group of us has been buying lottery tickets here every week for a couple years, happened to win a small amount recently. My friend that buys the tickets gave Sonny $100 since he printed the ticket (his JOB), and Sonny said, “that’s it?!” Since then, my friend has been HARRASSED every single time he enters the store, for more money. Looks like it’s time to find a new store to buy lotto tickets at. I hope we win big, and can tip a GRATEFUL cashier.

this is one of the cheapest stations in the area. I drive a little out of my way to come here.. or stop by when I'm close, even if my tank isn't empty. It's worth it to save .10 to .15 cents per gallon. It can get crowded in the afternoons, but most gas stations do. The only complaint is the hand sanitizers by the gas tanks are always empty and they charge 3$ for little personal hand sanitizer which is just rubbing alcohol.
