The other day, I backed our Ford Edge back down the driveway and noticed a small puddle of oil and large drips following the vehicle out.I took my Edge to Ray's expecting the worst.Result? A leaking oil filter. One oil change later, good to go.A crooked auto repair shop could have said I had a blown head gasket or some other costly repair I didn't need and bill me $1000 for an oil change.Quality services at fair prices.And they only repair what's broken.Best shop in town.Services: Auto engine diagnostic

Just came for a smog check, but two people who helped me out were fast, efficient, friendly. Place was clean, had snacks and coffee. Real plants! I'm glad to have found another car place in my neighborhood that, when I need service, I won't hesitate to go there.

Honestly, I do not use the word "trust," and I usually do not trust my sharp-tongued Louisianian mother's(R.I.P.) vintage Nissan Axxess, in the hands of repair shops. On the other hand, I trust Ray-A-Motive because I am welcomed, greeted respectfully, and feel at home when I enter Ray-A-Motive's customer lobby, with comfortable chairs, free WiFi, and added amenities such as coffee, muffins, and other snacks.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Brought my 1997 Subaru wagon in for a variety of issues . I get a clear and straightforward idea of the issues before any serious work began, which included a spot-on estimate. The work is great, and I was able to smog and register my old dinosaur ?. I look forward to going back to address other issues with my vehicle. I feel comfortable wholeheartedly recommending Ray A Motive to family and friends.

I've been taking our cars to Ray for over 20 years. Ray is a super stand up guy, is a member of Bellflower City Council and has been mayor in the past as well. His shop is top notch, clean and professional. I don't know of another auto shop or dealership I would rather use.Service: Electrical repair

Absolutely fabulous! I called for an oil change and they got me right in. Very helpful, very detailed, very courteous! They also did a courtesy inspection of everything to make sure all was well. The most professional staff, I am always able to walk in at the last minute and began the service cycle. It may take a day or two to complete, base on parts but the repairs are very detailed. I am always confident that the best service has been done.Services: Electrical repair

They performed the work. I wouldn’t come here again. I received scowling looks and side eye glances, and a stand-off service. I don’t agree with one of the extra charges tacked on towards the end.One of my tires blew out under their care and nobody notified me until I picked up my car.

Hi, I brought my RV in with fuel pump problems, 2 diagnstic charge $340 then to tella quote no more then $1k ends up $2.5k they never dropped the tanks, if they did it was a Rubber Groumit - Tank beather valve that was damaged, so vacuum lines could not function. Very Corrupt business jacking prices, Mayor of Bellflower.

I’ve been coming to Ray-a-Motive for almost 30 years. Way back when Ray’s dad owned the business. My parents took their cars here too for service. They are very professional, knowledgeable, polite, always give you an estimate before doing suggested repairs etc. Ray & his team of mechanics are the best.
