Stitches In Time is a cozy, quaint, and lovely local yarn shop. It is a long, narrow shop with a comfy living room set of couches, chairs, and a table that make customers feel at home. The selection of yarns is excellent, outstanding, and wonderful, carrying classic lines like Plymouth, Berroco, and Universal Yarns. It is a must for those looking for yarn to knit baby and child items, with an excellent selection of machine washable acrylic blends. The yarn is beautiful, though a bit pricey for some. The people running the shop are very nice, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable ladies who love their crafts. They give really good advice and feedback on projects and can order specific yarns if they are not in stock. The shop offers in-person knitting and crochet help, along with classes. A sock knitting class was noted during one visit. The overall experience is delightful, with cozy vibes. A bonus is the free parking lot behind the shop, and there is a cafe next door.
Candy, the owner, is so patient with beginners. She watches what you’re doing and will correct mistakes, even if it means ripping out some stitches. The store carries a variety of yarns and supplies. The atmosphere is very friendly.
