Rolled up at 4:40 and was turned away with a posted close time of 5 o’clock. Seems like 250% of the time, they’re closing early, 25% of the time out of propane and 50% have what I need. Every time I leave the house for propane, it’s a coin flip.

Rude manager and assistant. Told me to process my return, no return for your overpaid gas. With a street hood attitude.
They treated the other people that had crashed the equipment better than I who was waiting there to return my U-Haul truck I wasted 30 to 40 minutes processing that cuz I have no idea how to do it.
I call customer service I emailed them proof that I overpaid because the truck doesn't automatically read when you're putting gas.
These people are rude jerks.

I’ve used U-Haul equipment many times in the past, and this experience hands down had to be the best. The gentleman who assisted me provided the upmost professional customer service and made pick-up and drop-off insanely easy. I was impressed that I only spent minutes picking up, and then a quick key drop off as I left. Highly recommend the Bellflower U-Haul location to anyone.

Be extremely careful if you choose to utilize this U-haul location, though I highly recommend you do not use them. We're absolutely sure they are running a scam. We've utilized U-Haul locations for years now, and this is the first time we have ever had an issue. I helped my dad create a reservation online so that he could receive assistance in-person (at the counter versus app/online). My father is 66 years old and not technologically savvy. He just needed the rental for a day, and I made sure to sign him up for their insurance just in case of anything.
My dad showed up to pick the U-Haul on Saturday, 3/23/24, and checked in at the counter. He told them he had a reservation and asked for assistance. The clerk proceeded to take a picture of him and of his ID, as well as instructing him to look at the mileage on the moving truck. My dad asked if there was anything else he needed to do and they told him he was all set. He drove out with the truck and returned it the next day. It was used to move some furniture. There was absolutely no damage caused to the truck by him. He returned it in the exact same conditions it was when he picked it up. At the time of return, he tried to talk to someone in the counter to check in the truck and he was instructed to just leave it there and that he was done.
On Sunday, 3/24/24, he received a receipt for his rental which included a $250 damage fee charge and a false statement listed. The receipt said he'd stated that he "hadn't realized he'd done damage" to the front, side, and top of the truck. He immediately called U-haul and explained that there must be an error, and he was directed by a customer service rep that he had to go onto his uhaul account and create a complaint about the damage fee, as well as reporting an accident on RepWest. There was no accident. There was no damage caused by him. The safemove insurance was voided because of "damage to the top of the truck" which is an absolute lie.
Worst of all, a man representing the U-haul of Bellflower called him about 20 minutes after the complaint was filed online from a private phone number, accusing him of causing the damage. He was entirely unprofessional from the second my dad answered the call and was yelling at him on the phone. He asked him "did you follow the link?" and when my dad said he wasn't aware of having to do that and that no one had informed him, he yelled at him that there was nothing he could do and that he was responsible for the damage (again, that he did not cause and which the truck did not have). He then proceeded to threaten him if he decided to pursue this complaint, telling him he would be blackballed with U-Haul and would never be allowed to rent a truck from them again unless he dropped it and agreed to pay the fine without complaint. He went to the U-haul location this morning, 3/25/24, to try to speak to a representative about this and clear up whatever misunderstanding must be happening, but he was met with the same derogatory attitude and complete lack of accountability and support from the employees there.
I would also like to point out that after searching his phone, I saw that the link sent to him was from a private number. My father never saw it, and since it was a random number messaging him, he likely wouldn't have responded either. Whenever we've had anything to do with U-haul that required a text message, it always came from their official number 84285, not someone's cellphone. They saw the opportunity to take advantage of a senior individual for their own gain and they took it. They are covering their own mistakes at the expense of their customers with shady business tactics. I cannot begin to imagine how many people they've scammed the same way and how many fake complaints they have filed with people who didn't have the care to check their credit card accounts of false charges.
We will 100% be disputing these false

Today I rented a U hall truck with the kind help of Urusual staff. With her help, my prejudice against U Hall disappeared and I gained great trust.
Thank you! Urusula.

Raymond is awesome. Underneath his initial impression of being seemingly temperamental, there hid a heart with great customer care and compassion. He had all the patience to answer my gazillian questions as a first time truck renter (and first time driving truck), with a wealth of knowledge. When I asked him if I could thank him in any way, he said no, simply insisted on me being safe. And I made it to 400 miles away in one piece! Thank you so much for being kind, Ray.

I was charged a In Town rate for a booking that was originally one way, but volunteered to save a few bucks and return the truck to my rental location. This was offered to me through the UHAUL website during booking. Upon my return they had changed my reservation to an “In town” rate which resulted in an additional several hundred dollars. No one, including the on duty MGR, was able to resolve this issue, even though my contract I had when I left the facility showed the correct pricing and fees. I was told I’d have to wait until after the holidays to speak with the GM to clear this matter up. Meantime, it caused me undue stress and less credit availability on my card due to this error!

I made a reservation ahead of time. I supposed to get 3 hand dollys When I went. To pick my truck. Guess what they. Don’t have. None. I told the person. Who was helping me why I have my reservation. Planed ahead of time he said. It doesn’t matter. How long ago I made my reservation. We don’t have it. Imagine. You already hired people for the day. I took appliance dollly. They so heavy But they take the payment of course. They need to let the people know. If they don’t have it the equipment. Ahead of time Real bad experience.

Staff called to help me change my drop off location ahead of time; which the website wouldn’t allow me to set to the same store. Having that extra human touch and anticipation was great. Also the truck needed a quart of oil before we left and that was taken care of right away. Great location with staff who go the extra mile.

This day I had the misfortune of stopping on my way to try to rent a truck, but the bitter attitude of the woman without manners and the behavior of the man who attended this place this day, Friday, September 29, at approximately 11 in the morning There was no way I could rent a truck. It's a shame that the owner of this establishment, seeing so much dissatisfaction in the comments here on Google maps, about these 2 people, of course you can call them (people). Do not instruct them to anticipate a change, to provide good customer service.
