I have always been a fan of this pharmacy but the turnover in pharmacy techs has changed this location from efficient and pleasant to slow and aggravating. Newish guy is painfully slow and borderline rude. Today, before he could wait on me he had to arrange bags, hunt for receipt paper and have a convo with the pharmacist. I had been waiting 10 min. Then, when it was my turn he just stared at me. I said, I'm here for a pickup. He leaned over and just looked at me. I had to ask him, what info do you want to look me up. Awkward as heck. Every time I pick up a med and he is working, I can count on waiting way longer than I ever have before.

We have been with this pharmacy for many years. The senior pharmacist lady who has been managing my dog’s prescriptions is super kind and professional as well as the previous front cashiers and the technicians. Until over the last year, the new pharmacist and the tall Asian technitian guy changed its quality of services. Obnoxious and ignorant. I had to pull all our prescriptions away from this location.

AVOID! Lost prescriptions, online Safeway prescription orders don’t show up, never answers the phone, blames it all on “corporate“, nothing but excuses, horrible customer service. Just astonishingly bad — GO ELSEWHERE and save yourself time and frustration.

I have been going to this Pharmacy for many years now and it has steadily gone down in customer service. Sometimes prescriptions aren't getting filled or they're taking a very long time and the staff is very unsympathetic and inefficient in how they handle calls.

This is the worst Safeway pharmacy I've ever used. I used to use the one on Ralston Alameda before they closed it, And I never had any problems at that Safeway pharmacy. But for some reason everytime my doctor calls in a prescription for this pharmacy, they claim they never got it. And they always blame me or the doctor for sending it to the wrong pharmacy. And then I always have to call my doctor back and they're like yes we sent it to that pharmacy the correct one. And I call them back and they always have an attitude like they're annoyed that I'm calling. Like oh I'm sorry that I need my medicine. It's unacceptable. What if somebody needs their life saving medicine like insulin or something they can't go a day without? And these people are just so yeah sorry we didn't get it. Why are they unable to do the one job that they have? I am horrified at their lack of ability to do their job as well as the rude attitudes that they had whenever I call. I'm always very polite on the phone. I will never use this pharmacy again I'm switching to Walgreens. I rarely ever get one star reviews but this Pharmacy deserves it. I'm currently sick and feeling like I'm dying because I wasn't able to get my Covid medicine yesterday from this pharmacy because "they never got the prescription". Thankfully I'll get it from Walgreens today

I get vaccinations and prescriptions at the Belmont Safeway Pharmacy. The pharmacist is always very nice and I am waited on promptly. I recommend this pharmacy, although it is best to go before evening. They are a little short on staff.

Was prescribed 2 very important medications. Went to pick them up and only one was available. They never bothered to call or tell me that they would not be able to supply it. Not good when a pharmacy drops the ball with something that could be potentially life threatening.

This review and star is for Adam, at the customer service desk at 11:52 AM today! This is my favorite always go to Safeway but today Adam made my experience horrible. The lack of customer service, the rudeness was unnecessary. I was overcharged for an item, not once did Adam apologize and that's ok but his tone needs correcting immediately. He asked me what my club card number was, I told him do you mean my telephone number? He said yeah same thing with the most annoyed smart tone, well excuse me I know Safeway gives out those red cards and our club card numbers are on it, not phone numbers. He proceeds to ask me how I would like a refund... umm the same way sir. Please have management check Adam's attitude if he cannot do customer service, GET HIM OUT OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE BOOTH LOL! He may need more training hopefully it is not a black thing he has going on. He was nice to the white lady ahead of me. Get use to blacks Adam we are here :) See you soon Adam and I hope your attitude is corrected!

I went in today to get groceries and as I was putting my cart away the guy who was putting the carts away was so rude for no reason. Told me to leave the cart where it was with an attitude and repeated himself again as if I didn't understand him the first time. Broke dude energy

We went through the floral department to have our wedding flowers done. Mashid did an outstanding job! I am so impressed with her skills and patience (planning a wedding got a little stressful). The price was so reasonable and the bouquets were spectacular! Thank you Mashid for doing such a beautiful job!

Many of my dog’s prescriptions go to this pharmacy. I wish I could give them 10 stars out of five. This pharmacy is my most preferred one. People are compassionate and professional. They care about their patients and customers, think ahead for them. They won my heart, and my dog’s heart too!

This review is for the floral department: Today is Latin America's Mother's Day. This place usually has a good selection of flowers/roses, but not today. There were 4 rose bouquets available, all looked wilted and old. I went to ask the lady working behind the floral counter if they had any fresh ones, she said no. That if I wanted a better selection, to go to Redwood City. Considering that was out of my way, I knew I couldn't go there so I asked if she could at least give me a discount for the poor quality selection they had. She said they don't give discounts for roses (which is a lie because I know someone who used to be a floral manager at Safeway and told me they do). Anyway, I got no help from her and did not receive good service. Won't be returning here for flowers, I'll take her advice and go somewhere else. Very disappointed.

It is a new pharmacist every time. Very snarky attitude by pharmacist. Both the customer before us as well as me...terrible service.
