Ben Lomond Market is a nice, clean, and organized supermarket in a nice little town situated in the Red Woods. It is a quaint and wonderful little grocery store that is well-stocked. The store has an excellent meat selection and fresh produce. Staff work diligently, and for some customers, it is a place of positive weekly shopping experiences with relatively reasonable prices. However, the shopping experience is not very good for others. A significant point of contention is that there are no public restrooms in the store. Customers are informed by a pre-printed sign or by staff to walk to a nearby park to use a restroom, which one reviewer found dirty. Another common issue is that while everyone is working, often only one checkout is open, and there is no self-checkout, leading some to feel the quaint place could be more modernized. Prices are frequently noted as being higher than other stores, with specific mention of items like a Coolhaus ice cream sandwich being considered too expensive. This leads some customers to decide to shop elsewhere. Despite this, it remains a clean and organized store with a dedicated staff.
