Everyone should try yoga because it’s an ancient type of physical therapy people just need to start very slow and not do inverted or intensive poses until they have practiced because even good teachers can get occupational hazard injuries from too much yoga. Advanced and intermediate are risky but simple yoga is extremely beneficial with meditation. Awarness. Walking standing sitting laying meditation aka Sathipathana.

I've been studying under Dr. Juko Holiday for the last 3 years and it has been transformative to say the least. The space that she has created and cultivated will go down in the book of my life as one of my favorite places I have learned and grown in. I highly recommend you taking the time and seeking a deeper understanding for yourself. Her teacher trainings and programs are fantastic. Her light is brilliant and healing. I'm a huge fan, run... don't walk to her next offering.

been closed for over a year. Stop taking up space. Sell it to someone who would actually use it as a yoga studio.Edit after reply fromOwner: No you don’t and no you’re not. Please sell this place so it can open and be used. We can watch yoga on YouTube if we want to do it from home for free. Yoga is about community, like you said, which means being open. You’re just forcing people to stay home. Isolated. How is that community? Also stop lying about your hours. You’re closed. Mark it as such.

Ease Mountain does a wonderful job of making one feel at home in the studio (in person or online). The teachers and owners genuinely care about their students and provide a beautiful service to our community with their offerings.

I have felt so welcomed and comfortable attending classes at Ease as well as with Juko's yoga for mental health practitioners course. I feel comfortable amongst this yoga community and space because of the balanced honoring of tradition and genuinely holistic approach to the yoga practice. I have felt particularly drawn to study with Juko because of her intersectional views (realness!) and her commitment to the Forest Care Project. Their commitment to safety and professionalism through this wacky year has made it easy to continue classes online from the comfort of my home. I highly recommend this studio!

I am new to yoga and felt at home as soon as I walked in. We are lucky to have Ease Mountain in Ben Lomond. Always feel great when I leave.

Today was my first time here and it's such a nice space. Jolyn taught us gentle yoga and she is wonderful. She teaches you how to move your body through poses AND how to move your energy through them too. Coolest. Thing. Ever.

I'm a local Yoga and Reiki teacher and I love to take classes all over Santa Cruz. I adore our yoga community and all our local studios. I live in the Santa Cruz Mountains so I drive by Ease Mountain daily sometimes Multiple times. I'm consistently impressed with Ease and its facility. You walk in and you just feel a little bit of peace when you step in the door. Jerry & Juko are the owners and have a heavy presence which is important and shows great care to me. I appreciate that it makes me know that the class will be on time and we are in good hands as a community. The classes I've been able to drop in and take have all been different and offered something a little different. I've not made all the teachers I bet that they are lovely. I personally enjoyed Susan McMahon, Juko Holiday, and check out Peggy Galusha. If you are looking for a meditation only class my friend Jeffrey Compton has a One of a kind silent meditation on Wednesday at 7:30 pm. Drive up to Ben Lomond this sweet studio is worth a class or maybe 10. Namaste)

I was in the Felton area for a month, visiting my daughter. I am new to yoga, and was nervous about walking into an "unknown" studio and taking classes with strangers. Ease Mountain Yoga was an incredible experience. I went to several classes, met 3 different instructors, and EVERYONE was knowledgeable and patient with me. I felt like I got personalized instruction without holding up others in the classes who were more advanced. I have to say I am rather spoiled now because of them. I am not sure I can find the same experience back in my hometown.

If you're looking for a supportive studio to help you heal yourself, physically or emotionally, this is the place for you. I've been practicing here for a few months, with four different instructors, and it's an amazing place. This isn't "cardio yoga." There's a strong focus on breath work, meditation, and slow, correct movements. Highly recommended!

I've been going to Ease Mountain since its inception, and it has grown like crazy--with good reason. Juko Holiday, the owner, has created an inclusive, welcoming community. Juko is definitely an old soul who inspires her students to bring their best to the mat. You will leave Ease Mountain feeling lighter and happier. Highly recommended.

I discovered Ease Mountain Yoga last fall and fell in love. I started with the amazing intro-deal and have continued with the 5 per month subscription. If my work scheduled allowed, I would double it in a heart beat. Newer to Santa Cruz/Boulder Creek, I was welcomed warmly and now consider myself a member of the EMY community. Juko and Jerry are incredible combination of practitioner/teacher and student-centered business masters. You make my life better. Thank you. Namaste!
