I cannot recommend G&C Auto Body in Benicia highly enough! From the moment I walked through their doors, I was treated with exceptional service and respect. After a disappointing experience at another body shop, I was relieved to find a place where I felt truly seen and valued as a customer.
The team at G&C went above and beyond to answer all my questions and took the time to explain every step of the process in detail. Their customer service was outstanding—friendly and professional. I never once felt rushed or dismissed, and their commitment to clear communication made a potentially stressful situation so much easier to navigate.

G & C Auto Body did a beautiful job repairing my car after it was rear ended. They said it would be done in three days and it was done in two. They were very nice and kept me informed throughout the entire process. They washed my car and It looked fantastic when I picked it up. They are the best. I highly recommend G& C for any auto body repair work.

If I can give a negative number, I would give a negative number. I took my car here to be serviced due to a car accident just for my information to be stolen in my account to be compromised. I don’t even live in Benicia but all the transactions are in Benicia. I wouldn’t trust them

If you use this shop, make sure you triple check behind them to make sure things are done right.
We had two cars go in here at the same time. Both had to go back because of issues. On the first pass, I found so many issues it was ridiculous. On one car brand new door panel had a dent. On the other, a door they replaced wouldn't close properly, parts were missing and parts were not securely attached. Both cars went back and they fixed issues. After getting the cars back, one car still had issues like a door still wasn't closing flush and the door latch fell out because they didn't tighten screws. I could take it back to them again, but I'm going to take the car somewhere else. A door still needs some work done and a door the door latch/lock will need to be replaced.
I'd give zero stars for the quality of the work. However I will say that the staff are quite nice and easy to deal with. I'd go back except I'm tired of dealing with the sloppy work.

Best body shop in the history of body shops! I had a bumper I wanted to get painted since it had more rock chips than I could count. Since I live close by, I figured I stop by and show the bumper to get a quote. I was greeted by James who was super helpful, gave me a more than fair quote right away and said they can paint the bumper the next day. It is a very busy shop and I was very surprised to hear the one day turnaround. Left the bumper which actually got painted the next day, and I picked it up the day after. I seriously never worked with a body shop so professional, courteous, and quick. Gene was the painter assigned, awesome guy to deal with and has done a tremendous job with the color match. Overall, I cannot recommend them enough, and they earned my business for a lifetime.

AAA was having this place work on my daughter's car. Unsupervised young mechanic caught car on fire from a starter ignition switch. Once this happened they towed to a car dealership so they didn't have to take responsibility. Horrible place, cuts corners, long waits. People go here since it's in Benicia. Travel somewhere else to get your car worked on. Too many new mechanic's
