“CVS is definitely better than Walgreens in all aspects of the store from personnel to all the inventories available in the store. I also love the drive thru for prescription pickup.”

“This pharmacy used to be Mercury pharmacy, now Central pharmacy located inside Seafood City supermarket. Small pharmacy with plenty of asian health and beauty products on their display racks. New, clean in the inside, good customer service, usually no customer lines, they answer phones right away.”

“I’ve been fortunate enough to be introduced to ScriptsWorks (pharmacy) many years ago by my Dr. who knew they are a compounding pharmacy.
Three Ingredients combined have made my life easier.
Many of us have issues that cannot be resolved, but we have the opportunity to feel more comfortable.
ScriptsWorks pharmacy in Walnut Creek, Ca. has changed my life.
The Dedicated pharmacist and staff members are there to help you. You’re missing an opportunity if you or your Dr. are not willing to address other alternative!”

“I’d love to get a Sam’s Club near us in Patterson California. We’re too far from any of them. I prefer Sam’s over Costco.”

“I have a severe reaction to an ingredient that is in most vaccines, pain medication and many other prescription and OTC meds. The staff at QD is phenomenal and has gone to great lengths for me to insure my safety. I trust them implicitly with my health!”

“A real community Gem! By far the best pharmacy and service I have Ever used. Not like CVS and Walgreens.

“Akram is a great pharmacist. He fills prescriptions quickly (within an hour) and responds thoroughly and knowledgeably to all my questions. My experience at Oak Grove Pharmacy is above and beyond what I experienced at CVS. That said, I would avoid Oak Grove Pharmacy on Fridays, when Akram is not there. The sub pharmacist on Friday is difficult to communicate with. She is short on the phone, does not listen to what I need filled and what I don’t need. On the past two occasions I have picked up from her, she has helped people who arrive after me in addition to helping people on the phone rather than put them on hold. Today I had a new prescription to pick up in addition to one or two others. On the phone she was uncertain that they had it, which is fine, but Akram always tells me immediately on the phone. When I arrived to pick up these meds, she acted like the new script was not even in their system. It wasn’t until I called my doctor’s office right in front of her that she said she had the script and not the med. Very disappointing.”

“Top quality service from the guys here! Sams club had the best price on new Michelin A/S 4 tires for my 1994 Toyota Supra. I bought my newly refinished chrome OEM wheels here and they expertly and very carefully mounted and balanced the tires, taking extra care not to damage the finish. Highly recommended - would come back here in a heartbeat!”

“There are not many place for on site printing service in this area. Walgreen continues to provide service at the reasonable rate for printing photo. As soon as you upload the photo and print order, the system tell you 30 minutes time for the pick up. The restroom is also available for customer with key pad which need a staff to unlock it.”

“Pharmacists and pharmacy techs are very rude over the phone but employees on the regular side of the store are all very kind and diligent, they're the only reason this rating is so high.”

“I have been a Costco Member for many decades. Today was the first day I patronized the Pharmacy at the Antioch, CA Costco. I received great service from Alex (via a Phone call). As a first time caller, I had no clue how the Pharmacy service works. Alex, patiently and professionally provided answers to my many questions. He also spent the time to listen to their voice mails in search of the message my doctor left with my new Prescription. I originally told him that my doctor said he spoke to one of the Pharmacy staff which was not the case. Because of the high quality service he provided me today, he definitely should be recognized by upper Costco Management. I could not find a way on the Costco web site or system to leave a review or feedback; therefore, I am using Yelp. Hope this helps my fellow Costco Members. Thank you Alex, Ed Woo”

“Who buys food at Costco? How does anyone deal with all that bulk without having your kitchen explode?I buy most of my food from Costco with 1-2 trips to other supermarkets per month. I make 1-2 trips to Costco per week. I've been doing it for years and I've evolved *rules* for shopping there. Let's talk about the fresh/perishable food first. I buy one item per category (unless it's a special occasion like a party), e.g. one meat, one veggie, one dairy, etc... I notice as a rule of thumb that for many items Costco comes to roughly 60% of the supermarket cost. Don't try to overthink this. You'll spend too much time micromanaging. Pick your line in the sand and stick to it. So, if I use 60% I've broken even and don't cry about it. If I can't use it up, that item isn't a good item to buy from Costco. You also have to be willing to repackage items into more manageable sizes. What about new foods? Suppose I don't like it? That is always a problem. Take a picture of the item and buy it in your regular market. Note the price. After a while I decided this was cumbersome and time consuming and just decided to buy it at Costco. Yes, I've had to compost stuff but I've been pleasantly surprised more often. Remember to taste everything Costco offers. Here's a little meander thru Costco on one of my food shopping trips. My first stop is the towel section. Apologies for the diversion but this is how Costco turns you into an addict. I bleach my towels so they have be white and durable. I hate shopping around in the big department stores and discovering their new featured towel is flimsy. Costco keeps some items as a staple and you just buy it over and over. They've got a big stack at the end of the aisle and their stock of this item is large even for Costco. There is a coupon coming. (3 photos). Yeah, I've been buying this towel for 10 years or more. I actually skip the meat/veggies since I have a bit of meat and veggies. Stick to the discipline!A bag of frozen Kirkland strawberries keeps longer than fresh (see photo) and goes great with yogurt.I do stop by the sausages (3 photos) but do not succumb even with a coupon. Besides I'll probably be back in 4-5 days. Gotta cook everything first. Ling Ling potstickers (2 photos) - not the tastiest brand but it's Chinese New Year! Party exemption! The Kirkland yogurt - Breakfast! yum (1 photo)- Almond flour crackers - Delish but still have some others at home - had there been a coupon I would have purchased the package limit (1 photos)granola/cereal - more breakfast - makes good snacks too (1 photo)Kirkland steak strips - so economical I skip making it myself1 photo - the receipt!Of course you noticed there are hardly any perishables. You'd have to look at my shopping over a month to get the real picture. I go to Costco so often I can afford to rotate my stock a few items at a time. In short, you manage Costco exactly the same way you manage any other grocery store. You limit your purchases and buy only what you need. The only thing that changes is the timing. Costco just don't have it;No fresh herbsSuper perishable veggies (like those herbs) - most of their stock stays for at least a week, often two. Ethnic stuff - chicken's feet anyone?Less you think I have a ginormous kitchen I have exactly four cabinets.”

“I don’t care what others may say…The pharmacy in Safeway/American Canyon is basically the BEST pharmacy in “AmCan”.I genuinely look forward to making more than small talk with the pharmac-techs AND pharmacists (—like Gloria!). I’ve always loved her demeanor honestly…She LEGIT makes me “know“ she DOES feel bad when my family’s insurance is taking longer than THEY should to approve a prescription refill or if the location is out of stock.Between peoples’ insurances being extremely strict (sometimes it’s valid reasons; most times it’s not) on WHEN they decide to get around to said approval, and the pharmaceutical warehouses being conveniently “lacking“ in supply on ONLY controlled medications (like Concerta), I could NEVER aspire to be a pharmacy tech even…Pretty sure ANYone (competent or no) get more flak than the bare minimum allegedly “deserved”, being in a position of keeping human society in mental check. I ALways make sure my “extended family“ know at least I acknowledge what they must go through.Being that I’ve heard OF entitled jerks via “r/slash” on YouTube, and knowing employees “have” to deal with verbal abuse from random customer, legitimately makes me WANT to tell someone like that off…Just like I did with my younger sister’s elementary school bully to basically keep in line or I’d MAKE him, I’ll be willing to fight for my extended family too…Too Long; Didn’t Read?:…Then actually READ it.”

“The dude and I came here on 01/17/21 to pick up a cake for the dudes grandpa who turned 93 years old! I was suggesting to the dude that we pick up the cake from a Mexican bakery as the cakes are less sweet and pretty tasty but the dude didn't listen. Due to the holiday most cakes were picked over already. The dude wanted to get a whipped cream frosting cake as it's lighter and most cakes looked like they were whipped cream but he doesn't listen to me and wanted to ask staff member which they were totally busy so we decided to try a Mexican bakery. But before we left we picked up two more bottles of wine for his grandma who is also her 90s as well. She is a fan of Red wine so when we come down to visit I usually have a glass or two with her. We also picked up a macaroni salad to go along with the meal the dudes dad was making. Overall, we didn't get the cake here but it was my first time shopping at Safeway and it was a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and wearing face masks. We didn't really explore the store as much as I would like but it is like an upscale Vons or Save Mart. As they have a deli and bakery section and probably more unique finds too! Would come back as they had a pretty goof wine selection and low calorie selezers.”

“Stopped into the Walmart Pharmacy today in American Canyon to see what I could find to help calm down a bad case of poison ivy. I was on vacation over 2500 miles from home so I couldn’t just see my doctor. The Walmart Pharmacist looked at my poison ivy on my arms and legs. She took me over to the proper aisle and proceeded to educate me on the various products that were on the shelf and which ones she recommended and the reasons why based on not only her knowledge of these products and what the ingredients were but also on her own personal experiences with poison ivy in her lifetime. I chose a product called Sarna Calm & Cool anti-itch lotion. I basically just wanted to say that in this day and age of employees being in a hurry to just get through their workday this Walmart Pharmacist named Betty restored my confidence in people helping others. I think this particular Walmart location has themselves a great pharmacist.”

“This CVS is in the Target store. The pharmacy itself is okay, but check out by way of Target can sometimes have pretty long lines. Parking can also be a bit slow partially because right by the drive-in for in and out Burger which often backs up traffic.”

“I love Walmart and I love the people that work there everybody is family there to me the workers are courteous, kind, helpful they have patience for you if you need anything just ask. I went in there a couple days ago and I didn't have enough money for my stuff I was like $2.50 short and the cashier came around and slid her debit card for me. That's just an example of how nice they are in there.”
