Such an easy solution for moving across the country. Everything arrived safe and sound, on time, and in tact. I will never be moving across country again (hopefully) but if I did I would use PODS again.

After booking, I was never able to talk to someone on the phone again. There is no tracking info provided for the pod. More costly than expected. $7k for full sized coast to coast move with a 2-3 week shipping process. All of our belongings smell like moth balls and cigarettes now. :)

I called yesterday to schedule a pickup of the POD we rented 6 months ago. I spoke with a woman who said they would pick up the unit on Wednesday. We have did not heard from them again and the rent is about $350 per month or $2100, not cheap. And they charge $120 for delivery and pickup. Their website, requires an account number AND a PIN. We were never given a PIN, to my knowledge, and the "Forgot PIN?" buttom on their webpage returns an error message. They have our credit card number and the automatic draws on our account continue to roll along. I have been on hold for more than an hour now. Never again will I use this company. Beware renters. This company is poorly run and setup to keep the customer away after you are on the hook. I am going to my bank now to dispute the charges.

I've had my POD stored in Oakland CA since 2018. The customer service was excellent. They ALWAYS answered the customer service line within 2 rings. Was able to make pickup / delivery arrangements within minutes. Since 2022, the service went downhill. I've never experiences anything like it. On hold for hours, when someone does answer, they transfer me, then the call gets dropped or on hold for hours. Website is not functioning; Chat lines are either bot driven or I get the run-around and gaslighted. I've sent several emails as well, with no follow-up. May I suggest to everyone reading my review to do the following. If you do not get a resolve, and your belongings are being stollen, kept hostage, or any other such matters, we all should connect and create a class-action lawsuit. I'm in the process of gathering data, speaking with trucking transit unions, the government transportation agency, trucking insurance companies, etc. We may not get our personal belonging back, but we will hit them back hard. There actions are illegal, and they could lose their operation license, trucking license, and have to pay restoration to all involved. Since PODs is not keeping us informed of where are property is and delivering it to us, as promised, may I suggest, if your POD is insured, you file an insurance claim and have the insurance company work their magic. There are alternatives. We do not have to play victim to bad players.

Great move company, great experience. O. Time, professional, timely but expensive. California to Pittsburgh was 7000.00. I will be using again but have to save up first.

PODS, I already emailed your social media team after my similar review on Consumer Affairs two weeks ago. All information has already been provided numerous times. Please reference incident #2345853. I was hoping to have this resolved today but still haven't heard anything. To your credit, the social media team has been highly responsive at reaching out. Nonetheless, the incident needs to be resolved by the company.

Customer service stars filling your order negitive.....to many problems. No management calling back to fix mistakes...over 3 wks. Management doesn't care I help pay there Salary! Out of 6 Customer service people I talked to only 2 tried to help! One filed the dispute...management didn't care they still haven't called it's been almost 4 weeks!I would never use them.I had positive conversations with the 3 delivers. If I needed something they were able to help and answer my questions! Delivery to my storage unit didn't work out . Customer service screwed his delivery of the POS. The driver worked with me to get the final delivery corrected!

Accountability 0, Customer service 0, business rating 0. PODS will damage your property and not give you your money. We advise everyone this is the worst business to hire we recommend you to go somewhere else just not here.

This is the second time I've used PODS to move long distance. The price had changed significantly during the 13 years between moves. But when I compared other options, including renting a truck and towing my car, the amounts where similar. I decided to send my things in a POD and enjoy a sightseeing trip by driving across the country. I was able to store the POD until I arrived in my new home. That was a deciding factors. My belongings, including antiques, were in perfect shape upon unloading. I had to make scheduling changes and the PODS staff made that very easy. I also used the recommended Hire-a-Helper program to load and unload. As an older person, that was a great solution. That may be why I got all of my furnishings into a small POD - professional POD loaders!

We have used PODS many times over the years. We have packed kids off to college with PODS. We cleaned out our parents' houses when they passed away with PODS. And when we retired and downsized our home we did it using PODS! PODS services custom fit to our needs at different times in our life, that is what makes PODS so great.

PODS was convenient and had the option to store our belongings while we figured out where we were going to move. Once we settled on a town across the country they sent the POD out and it arrived within two weeks. Using PODS was easy, safe and nothing was damaged, not to mention it was entertaining to watch the PODZILLA work.

I HAVE BEEN WAITING 21 DAYS TO HEAR BACK FROM PODS!!! Meanwhile my family has been living in an empty house sleeping and eating on the floor because we don't have any of our belongings. I would never trust this company again! They give out false information and never return phone calls!!! I booked pods to store our stuff in San Francisco and delivery it to our new home in Bend Oregon. The customer service person told me they had a storage facility in Redmond, Oregon (17 miles from Bend) and that they would deliver to our new home address in Bend and provided me a quote. When I called to give them a date to deliver, they told me they do not have a storage facility in Redmond, Oregon and they could not deliver our things. HOW CAN A MOVING COMPANY GIVE OUT FALSE INFORMATION LIKE THIS??? To make matters worse, when I spoke to a supervisor and filled an incident report on 8/17, they told me they would email a response in a week after they did an investigation. The supervisor said my conversation that I had initially was recorded so they will get to the bottom of what happened with a resolution. I did not hear back from them, so I called on 8/26 to follow-up. I spoke to another representative that told me I would hear back in 72 hours, but again received no response. I called again on 9/1 and was told the investigators manager would call me back that day. Never heard from him. I called again today 9/7 and was told they would leave a voicemail with the manager, and that's all they could do to follow-up on the investigation. So in a nutshell, I've called 4 times to follow-up on this investigation because I've not heard back from anyone, and I'm still waiting for a manager to return my call and resolve this issue. You would think a company of this magnitude would follow through on their word. There are so many moving companies out there. I would not trust your things with PODS!!!

The drivers are great and hilarious but the customer service is awful. They rescheduled us 2 times always on the day of, and never told us until we called them. The last time they rescheduled us for a whole extra month so we incurred HOA fees for taking too long for them to take away their pod and we had to file an incident report.

Used PODS twice for a coast to coast move and was happy with the results. Economical, easy to book and making changes when needed, friendly staff/drivers, and cheaper than several other options I looked into. I recommend PODS for sure.
