England, by Pe safeway cus,'tomer se,rvice phOn'e Num'ber ''8O5;3'O1 -7O(4)2;ter Green after he left the British blues band John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers. Green had previously replaced guitarist Eric Clapton in the Bluesbreakers[11] and had received critical acclaim for his work on their album A Hard Road. Green had been in two bands with Mick Fleetwood, Peter B's Looners and the subsequent Shotgun Express (which featured a young Rod Stewart as vocalist),

Same as every Safeway. I am not just a big fan of the items in Safeway. Prices are high, but have sale. The prepared sandwiches are not very good

Easily the grossest grocery store I have ever visited. The egg section has YEARS of dried up egg yolks, feathers and dust in their refrigerated case. It was so nasty I didn't even want to take a picture. I left and bought eggs are Raleys. If corporate came in, they would be shut down temporarily to clean the place. This is a Warning before corporate is contacted AGAIN about cleanliness and health safety. Also Avoid Patrick at all costs. He stands around watching you bag items without offering help when there are ZERO checkers around. He's rude, condescending and disrespectful to costumers. Not the first or 5th time I've encountered this. Please do something to fix this store it's only 1 out of 2 in our town.

Love the checkers, BUT they never have enough at checkout. Benicia Safeway needs a new manager, then maybe I'd give more stars.

When I had a question about the advertised price of an item, I was informed by an employee that I had to use the Safeway APP to get the price as advertised when I am physically purchasing my items within the Safeway store. Excuse me!! The particular employee was emphatic that I needed to use their APP to get the advertised price. And you wonder why I pay Seven bucks to cross the bridge to shop at Trader Joe's in Concord?? The price differences on similar items at both stores is significant. In some cases Safeway prices are almost double as compared to TJ's. So Safeway can keep their APP to mislead in-store customers about their their two tier pricing.

When you want a fast meal, the deli in Safeway is a good place to go. I come here a lot on my lunch break, i normally get a sandwich or sushi. I love that they cut meat and cheese fresh for you, if you get there around 9am you can see the sushi being freshly made, you also miss the lunch rush. Service is normally good, everything looks clean tidy, stocked and appealing.

Since when does this Safeway have the right to remove negative reviews? I put a lot of time into reviewing this store with plenty of detail. It was up for a short time. Now the review is gone! I wanted to add to it that the other night I was overcharged on an item. (Happens all the time here.) The Checker gave me partial refund. I said, "the item is supposed to be free." She said she never heard of that policy and she had been working there 10 yrs. She asked another checker who said the same thing, never heard of it. So I went to my car and got my phone to prove it. I went to an available third checker about the refund and she said they didn't have that policy. So I showed her on my phone Safeway's 'promise.' I finally got refunded for the item. I got no apology from her nor the other two checkers who were watching. The employees here are obviously told I think that they, under no circumstances, should give money back unless forced to. On another note, the $7 fresh fruit cup I got here was 50% inedible as half the melon was hard and NOT RIPE. This is a small example of how the employees here are barely trained. In my 70 years, I have never encountered a major grocery store with such unethical practices and lack of regard for customer experience.

Many shelves were COMPLETELY empty..not even price stickers on them! They've had empty shelves of wet cat food for months..the small amount of cat food they carry at all compared to half an aisle of dog food which is always full..they BLATANTLY mark up their prices double to cover their BOGO sales.. cereal for $8 a box when all the others of the same size were $4...they also do the same for their clearance 50% off area..it ends up being actually a little more than the items regular price..toothpaste 50% off from $10 down to $5..all you have to do is walk a few aisles to comparison shop..also..any free items on their app are NEVER in stock..since the app started I have NEVER found any free item there..Im told they never carried the item when I saw it there days before it went to "free" OR the price sticker is there even though they "dont carry it" or its covered up...the app is store specific btw so Safeway knows whats in the store..may be pulled to the back room but its there..I know this cuz Ive talked to Safeway about their app re their delivery...if it isnt in stock its not on the app..sooo I mean, I get it...the store needs to make money...but not having in stock items on the shelves AND locking up 90% of the liquor dept as well as others is NOT good customer service..especially when it takes an act of god to get someone to come to help a customer get their locked up item..then they show up annoyed or come all the way there to tell the customer they cant open the cabinet cuz they dont have the key and the person who does is on break..if a person finally gets their medicine or booze or whatever, they are then told their items will be at a certain register...and when youre ready to check out, your item isnt at that register so you have to start the process over...again..the store needs to make money, but there has to be a better way...I myself, if I know I need to get something locked up there will shop somewhere else..like the Rite Aid next door...they dont imply their customers are thieves like Safeway does...and btw...While waiting for my ride the other day I had to back up my cart as I was blocking a tiny older woman from exiting the store from the meat dept as she was wearing like a 5XL down knee length coat STUFFED with meat and seafood that was falling out of the coat..as I was told months ago watching a woman leave with an ENTIRE cart of laundry detergent while a manager took her picture, nothing can be done...You gotta do something!! Locking up the whole store, allowing people to load up carts to raise our prices that are already high, not stocking your shelves with product in stock, and not carrying one category of food (cat) and overstocking another (dog) is gonna send people elsewhere, speaking as someone with decades of retail management and loss prevention experience..

This place has gone downhill. Every time I buy produce, it goes bad within a day. I've purchased ground beef twice and both times it was spoiled. Additionally, they're constantly out of stock on common, general items.

Shelves are usually full and the store is always clean. Honestly, My 2nd choice for groceries when Costco is too busy. However, I fell much safer shopping here than Vallejo.

We got some snacks, milk, and basic necessity last night from this store. I couldn't find where they had something. I asked for help and someone who was restocking and moving a huge pallets helped me find what I needed. My kids and I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. The service was great- the ambiance was clean and everything was price right . Thank you for helping.

They run ads for 3lbs ground beef for $5 but never have any... they know people want the deal, but don't bother preparing.
