“City of Downtown Pleasant Hill is a great spot It’s clean, open, and very easy to access. I love that it’s close to shops, restaurants, and the Park, so you can relax, walk around, or grab a bite nearby. The seating areas and open-air design make it a nice place to hang out, read, or meet friends.
It always feels safe and well taken care of, and you can tell the community really uses and appreciates the space. With continued upkeep, this plaza will remain a beautiful and welcoming part of Pleasant Hill. A great place to enjoy the day and support the local area!”
“In May 2024, I visited The Veranda in Concord, CA. It has playgrounds, food courts, clothing stores, and other places. The parking lot was easy as usual. I enjoyed the Asian foods. The seats were comfortable. The Public Wi-Fi was not fast enough.”

“Good selections of stores, plenty of parking. Safe atmosphere. Love these stores. All well run plenty of parking did you they have a racecar simulator here? Its intense as they have several pods with haptic feedback.”
“Used to be the nicest and newest strip mall in Martinez. It now has empty stores they can't fill and a mid section of about 3 store fronts that change constantly. Recently they let a sleezy massage parlor take up shop complete with all curtained windows so you can't see inside the place. Also another slot with every window covered in black cardboard. I looked up the name and it's suppose to be a solor panel distributor but none of the otherocations were aware of a branch opening up here. Shady.
UPDATE Massage parlor and shady solar company have departed and a couple of nice resturant bars have taken those spaces. Big improvement.”
“Grocery store (Trader Joe's), pet store (Petco), furniture (Arizona Leather), food (Panda Express, Noodle Company, Starbucks, etc.), and WW, plus a bank. There's also a fitness place for children to do gymnastics.”
“Especially recommended is the pretty woman center school, a professional makeup school and different things you want to learn related to beauty. The teachers, Sandra and Alma, are loving people who are always dedicated to their students so that they give the best. I recommend them. You will not regret it. a very nice experience.”
“Ygnacio Plaza in Walnut Creek has a great mix of restaurants, coffee shops, and local businesses. It’s convenient with EV chargers, a gas station, and plenty of dining options. “Mel's Diner Pinole great place to eat clean always great service I always came there as a group play serve groups really fast and really well giving groups all their attention that's needed food is wonderful my favorite is the BLT with avocado on the side and a cup of clam chowder wonderful meal that fabulous cornbread”
“I visited Safeway Grocery Store, I was able to find everything I needed. The store was nice and clean. The staff was nice and friendly. The Parking was extremely nice. Their was plenty of parking. The parking lot was even clean. I will definitely be shopping here again. They had everything I needed. Sorry no photo’s but next time.”
“College Square is a shopping area that has restaurants, nail shop etc in Pleasant Hill CAWe went to the mexican restaurant for Sunday brunch in the College Square.They have an all you can eat buffet with omelet & waffle bar with the bottomless champagne/mimosas.El Tapatia is not a fancy place, it is a regular average place, it is nice & big & the food is good. The employees are nice and friendlyThere has alway been plenty of parking on the days I have been there.”
“This is an old school diner. Expect the food to be tasty and the service to be on point but check the specials every time you go because nothing stays the same except thr breakfasts whenever I go.”
“Stopped in while on a break from lyft. Was able to grab my last minute things on good deals. And continue to work right after. The cashier was nice. But to find out they no longer take the cards I couldn't remember my number to my account to save even more. Glad she told me about it so now I'll change my number to my current one to have from now on thank you”
“Love the deals. Huge section and variety on hygiene products from face stuff , shampoos & conditioners to hair products and beauty tools. Very clean and organized. Never really have to wait long in line. Friendly staff. Only disappointment is the men’s clothing section is very minimal.”

“Although I don’t interact with all the businesses in this center, the ones I do, I really enjoy. First you have Fitness 19- nice gym, with friendly staff, good equipment selection (for what I personally need), and the pricing is pretty great with specials running quite often. Then you have the Junction- nice bar and restaurant, with some great bartenders and good food (they have karaoke nights and other special events they run…sushi night is pretty bomb). Finally there’s E Acupressure- a nice massage place with very friendly staff (we’ve been going to them for close to a decade if not more). There’s obviously more offered in this plaza, but these are the 3 businesses I frequent and really enjoy. Parking can be kinda limited depending on the time and date, but overall it’s a safe place so if you have to park on the opposite end, it’s really no biggie.”
“It makes me mad that this is the nearest place to do any banking for b of a now if you live in the Martinez, pleasant hill, Pacheco area you have to go here or over near spaghetti factory. They do have a pet food place (cant remember the name), a CVS, vitamin store, staples, a grocery place (can't remember the name off hand) that has some unique items. So it's a nice place to get some different things.”
“I go out of my way to shop at Hercules Home Depot. The one in El cerrito has day laborers everywhere and they run up to your car to try to get work. I don't feel safe”
“This shopping center has Whole Foods, Rocco Pizza, Walnut Creek Nails, Petco, Chase Bank, Walgreen, Ace, Hardware, and a gas station. Car repair facility, AAA office, EV charging stations, and a much more. Parking is a bit of a challenge, so bring your sneakers as you might have to walk, but there is always parking.”
“My childhood mall. I recently visited after many many years. I was pleasantly surprised by the condition and cleanliness of the property. It was so nice to see it doing well. Definitely a good option for shopping or a day of hanging out.”
