mixed review the lady who helped with my passport was nice but didn't know how to properly handle a passport application and needs more training on the process. the guy at the counter too.
I came in to replace my Passport Card since it was stolen along with my wallet.
First the lady told me that the copy of my state issued ID was only considered as a 2nd ID and a Drivers License was not. The Department of State said they are both considered a 1st ID.
Then when I went to pay the guy at the counter told me I actually should have applied for both a Passport book and the card. I told him I was told they are separate even when you report one stolen. He persisted to tell me that they are both connected and when one is reported stolen the other is also considered stolen.
he then told me if you want you can still send in the application but he believed it won't go through and I should have again applied for both. he then states i will receive a letter stating what i did was incorrect.
I then called the department of state again and told them what they said and they assured me I did the correct procedure.
Turns out the guy at the counter was wrong I received my passport card and everything went through smoothly.
the people who do the passports there need more training I would have had a very expensive mistake if I followed his procedure.

The only post office I have issues with every freaking time..
They don't scan packages in half the time
Don't get them pushed through for almost a week
I have had to contact higher ups on them multiple times
Nothing changes and it's always this specific post office

Only using Vallejo from now on. The one of the main women that works there has been a stuck up jerk to me and my fiancée no less than 5 times.
Office has given me wrong info in regards to walk-in passport procedures.
If you are under 35 skip them and go to Vallejo. We as a community don’t have to put up with poor communication and icy customer service.

Just had a knock on the door from our postman Steve. The post office found a package that should have been delivered tonight. He brought it to our home at 8 PM. He delivered our mail at 5. I think he was probably at home and he delivered it after hours. Thank you for going above what you needed to do. We live on Dundee.

It was annoyed at first sight. Employee Kim gave me that look. I had 2 flat rate large boxes in my arms and she evidently wasn't in the mood to work hard today. No greeting, no smile. No ounce of fake politeness or friendliness. There was no one in line and I stand and respect the etiquette of waiting until I get called. I smile at her and she just looks at me as if I can read her mind. I told her I'm ready when she is and she barks that she's ready now. How did I not know that (?) I'm not a mind reader. I use usps as my mailing service and a loyal customer. I hope Kim is not the manager. Her superiors need to remind her good customer service goes a long way. She needs to retire if she's unhappy. I wish I had waited for the nicer employee.

Always helpful always courteous always willing to help. I ship from this post office daily about 80 packages for my e-commerce business. This team and post office has been nothing but a Godsend for my business. I have visited this post office everyday for 3 years straight 6 days a week. I've never worked with a more consistently reliable set of postal workers. Now they are busy and remember to be very respectful to them they will return the same energy. Solid team Vanessa Kim and Ryan!

Service: The lady who is there behind the counter, (she started at 9am today) is always grouchy and obviously hates dealing with people...every...single...time.Process: Each USPS applies a different process because employees don't know what to do. To add a name here to receive mail in your PO box, you need to complete an entirely new application form and reverify your ID with new paperwork (car registration etc) even if they have your info on file.Billing: This USPS location sent me a bogus "we've automatically renewed your box charged your credit card" when this was not permitted by me nor was any payment info. given to them, then when I ask about this, they say to just pay because nothing in on their records. I think my brain got a bit dumber dealing with this institution.

I'm beyond impressed with the excellent customer service I received yesterday. I was concerned a package had been stolen, as my mailbox was open and nothing was in it. I called the USPS customer service # to make a claim and was told that someone from my local USPS would call me within 2-3 business days. It was a Friday night so I wasn't expecting a call until mid next week, which is totally fine. However I received a call within an hour and they were sending someone over (ON A FRIDAY NIGHT) to come check out our mail box. The person arrived in 5 minutes and was able to locate our mail for us. It turns out I must have foolishly left my box open the last time I went in there to get mail and when that happens they put your mail in a protected box so that no one can steal it! My boyfriend and I appreciated this help SO MUCH as we had several important things in there. I'm so appreciative of this excellent service and had to write a review to show my gratitude. Thanks so much!
