The fried chicken sandwich was average at best. The chicken itself was not particularly flavorful, the cole slaw didn’t add much to it and the bread was just fine. Fries were too oily. It came with a pickle which I do not appreciate since it was not listed on the menu and I would’ve asked to not put it on my plate. I ate it as it’s still fried chicken so hard to make it actually bad, but I would not order this item again.I really likes the ambiance and service so I might go back and try a different dish.

The waffle and chicken were excellent. It is the best in the Bay. I would have loved some butter, but surprisingly, it didn't need it. The chicken breast was juicy and crunchy, and the waffle and syrup were sweet and flavorful. It's very much worth the price.

I used to come here pre-pandemic a lot and just tried it again recently with our toddler. I got the standard breakfast with egg, hash browns, levain toast, and sausage. The sausage was flavorful, hash browns crispy but not over fried, and the eggs perfectly done. The coffee kept coming too. Wait staff were attentive, friendly, and top notch. Prices were very reasonable, particularly compared to other brunch/breakfast options nearby.Vegetarian options: My wife is a lifelong vegetarian and the breakfast menu had many options she could (and wanted) to eat.

Stopped in for brunch on a Monday a couple of weeks ago. Superb service and a nice atmosphere with great disco music playing. Ordered the demon lover and I'll say it left a lot to be desired. First of all, it was easy to tell that it wasn't made fresh. Rather than a breast or thigh, expect a breaded cutlet (the breading had some kind of spice--cayenne or paprika) that's been beaten to patty thickness atop a thin Waffle House-esque waffle, i.e., not the ideal style of waffle to support a hunk of fried chicken. Not an authentic southern chicken and waffles experience and honestly just above passable. Asked for the hash browns extra crispy and boy were they--basically potato straws, which I don't mind but it was impossible to get them on the fork. However, our server was fantastic--attentive and capable without being overbearing.

A delicious brunch menu of delightful variety awaits you. In strongly recommend trying the Demon Lover (amazing fried chicken with waffle) at least once. Though a mighty large meal, the quality of the food and the wonderfully savory flavors, especially if you get the gravy instead of or along with the maple syrup, are extraordinary. Great service even if the restaurant space is a little crowded indoors.

I brought my car into the best foreign auto mechanic in Berkeley to be detailed, and asked for a referral on a local breakfast rest.Seth referred me to Grayson 600. He raved about themFood was excellent; poached eggs, coffee, hash browns, toast, Champaign, fantasticThe price is much too cheap, I thought he made a mistake so I ordered another glass of Champaign!! Excellent service, and the music is awesome.WARNING!!! They play excellent music so you might end up spending more time here than planned!!! LOLI'm coming back to try their other dishes!!!
