I showed up earlier than my appointment and was totally cool on waiting until my scheduled appointment at 5pm to get my car serviced. I figured patching a tire should take no more than 15-20 minutes. Who knew that my estimated time will soon be completely inaccurate.
I am disappointed that I scheduled my appointment for 5pm to patch a tire. I noticed that there were several customers without appointments being seen first and they arrived a few minutes before 5pm. I would like to know if making an appointment was unnecessary since other customers were getting their cars worked on right away without appointments. Having some transparency about this would have been nice because I cannot help but feel frustrated watching other customers get their cars serviced when they pull up to the service dock. All the while, I went out of my way to schedule an appointment only to continue waiting for my car to move from its parking spot. Should I have pulled up my car to the service dock instead of parking? It took until 5:43pm for my vehicle to move to a service dock and 6:06pm to be updsted that the service should take another 20 mins…
*Shoutout to the guy who checked me in (sorry I don’t not know your name) to noticed that I was the only one still waiting in the seating area. Even he was surprised why my vehicle was not getting serviced right away too. Thank you and I appreciate you taking notice that I was still here and keeping me update on when my car will hopefully be ready by!*
Update: I had to ask directly if the done and it was completed at 6:33pm.

Fraud alert. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Made a mess with the oil change and never rotated tires. However they did swap the black lug nuts that matched my wheels with chrome to give the impression of a tire rotation. When I asked the front desk about it, they were extremely ghetto and wanted to fight lol. Would never recommend this location to anyone!

Very efficient and very accommodating! I only had a short window in the middle of a day-long trip - I called ahead, they got the special tires I needed and had them installed within a few hours - I was back on the road in plenty of time. Thanks!!

Johnathan was so helpful and walked me through all of the options for dealing with my tire issues. He caught a couple issues that had been overlooked at my last service appointment. I highly recommend Johnathan at the Berkeley Big O on San Pablo.

I recently visited Big O Tires to get a nail removed from my tire. The service was exceptional! They quickly repaired the tire even on super late notice an hour before closure in order to get me back on the road for a trip the next day. The staff was friendly, professional, and efficient. Jarrell's customer service truly stands out—I highly recommend them for any tire issues.
