Don’t bother! Guy literally told me he “didn’t know” he was STILL selling my car after I paid him to do so. I had called asking why I was not getting any responses and this is what he told me. Literally all I got was scams. People offering ten dollers, 100 dollars, offers where the person said “oh my bad, I’m not even in the same state as you” after they made an offer and then acted like it was normal to just send me offers with no intention of being serious about them. One person started harassing me, pleading when I rejected their lowball offer. You still have to deal with the buyer if you use buggy bank, and it didn’t attract serious buyers for me, just scammers. After paying buggy bank 1000 dollars to sell my car, I have to take it to the dealership anyway to get away from all the scam responses and actually sell my car. Guy is nice and friendly while not selling your car, tho. If that matters to you . He details the car at first and then rinses it off for test drives. He does handle the test drives. But the test drives were for buyers who were offering 7000 dollars less than asking (which inwas already selling below market already because I’m actually trying to sell). In addition, he’d call me to schedule a time to drop the car off and repeatedly was not there at the agreed upon time and make me late for work. Not once, onto twice, no exaggeration nearly every time. Then he’d bother me while I was at work trying to get me to pic up the car early so he could leave.
Just wish I didn’t waste my time, money and energy with this place. The owner told me he’d have it sold in a “couple months” it has been been one year of test drives and scams

I was referred to this place, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I received approval for a test drive from the owner and was told to call the company to schedule it.
The first time I called during business hours (after 10am), no one answered, so I left a voicemail. When I called again later, I spoke to someone who said he would contact the owner and get back to me to confirm the test drive date and time. I waited the rest of the day and into the next without hearing anything.
When I followed up again, I was told there was a potential negotiation happening on the vehicle later that day. There was no clear communication about whether I would still get a chance to test drive the car if the negotiation didn’t go through, and I wasn’t informed beforehand that someone else was ahead of me. At that point, I felt like I was left hanging with no clear next steps.
Overall, I felt that my time wasn’t respected, and the lack of communication made the experience frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re okay with having to follow up repeatedly just to stay informed.

NO MORE CARS ON DISPLAY,
it's now used as parking lot for Berkeley Honda and Buggy Bank only operates by appointment so buyers have to choose a car on website then make appointment even to see the car in person or test drive it.

It was hard giving up my 09 Mini Cooper convertible. BUGGY BANK was amazing! Jerry took care of everything-detailing-
on line description and photos.
He also vetted the prospective buyers.
It sold quickly and I couldn’t be happier!

Good service but it takes a really long time for any sort of serious or decent offer. My Honda was expected to sell quickly being a Honda but it took over 2-3 months for serious offers to start to arrive. The offers that did come through were not a lot more compared to selling at a dealer (however much I hate interacting with dealers) after you account for the $1000 fee BB charges. I was on a rushed timeline and ended up selling to a dealership. Being located in the peninsula did not help either since the hike to Berkeley was quite a distance. Hopefully this service helps folks but from what I can tell used car prices have been dropping and dealers are taking advantage of the situation.

Great service. As a seller you get the benefit of a private party sale (20% minimum better price than trading in a car or selling to a dealer) and none of the hassle. As a buyer, you get a smoother experience then buying directly from a private party. Either way, so worth it. Extra bonus - Jerry knows the market cold and since its fee only; no commish, wants nothing but for you to be happy.

I purchased a 2017 Jaguar from Buggy Bank and it was very easy with no problems. I recommend this rather than trying to sell it yourself for safety purposes as well.

This place is a waste of time both for the seller and the buyer. The representative may not care any way. He is getting paid. Sell your car at market place in Facebook why am I paying big money to sell my own property.

buyer beware, my girl was sold a complete lemon through this lot. just do your homework and demand a third party mechanic look over the car because you never know what you are going to get.
