This is one of the best plant stores I've ever been to. They don't just sell succulents! Also have plenty of unusual stuff like carnivores and different Tillandsias, and not just the typical species. They also have pretty pots and shells (including the large Turbos my hermit crab likes). The staff are very knowledgeable! Highly recommend visiting just to take a look at the cool, unusual plants they've gathered. Their plant prices are also reasonable. Got a Kniphofia (red hot poker, hard to find in this season) for $8.

They have Fox Farm products here. I usually grab some Ocean Forest potting mix here on the way to work. I can't find Fox Farm stuff at regular nurseries. They are super friendly here and can assist you if you need it. Currently the price of Ocean Forest is $26.99. They also have the happy frog soil conditioner but I don't the price of that one.

I absolutely love this place with their selections of succulents and cactus. They definitely have offerings of plant species that no other places have and certainly can vary from season to season. I was able to get some rare haworthia and euphorbias here that weren't available anywhere else. The selection of smaller pots outside are nice and cheap, and can be hard to narrow down and choose from given how many choices there are. Whenever I'm in town, I definitely try to stop by to see what they have. I only wish it was closer to San Francisco so the drive wouldn't have to be that long, but given what they carry, I think the drive is worth it. Also, some of their plants can be pretty pricey so it's good to know ahead of time (or look up) what the plants are and see if it's worth it to you.

I had a serious issue with this nursery due to bad communication. They estimated soil quantity, and gave me estimates for hole sizes for each plant. Terrific job.I went and communicated with contractors, which in disbelief told me the hole sizes were too large. They think I am crazy, so they call Cactus Jungle who tells them the right hole sizes are different ones, much smaller than the number they gave me.So now I am the crazy guy - and the contractors follow the nursery instructions from the phone. They get back to me 3 hours later, after all planting is done, via e-mail, to tell me that yes, the phone instructions were wrong, sorry, the original were correct. Now I got 4k worth of plants installed incorrectly.Thank you Cactus Jungle.Buy from them only if you plan on having them doing the installation as well, as there is some serious communication issue going on.

Such a great selection of succulents! It’s the perfect place to make your garden look pretty and to buy gifts for friends. They have cute pre-made arrangements. Or you can make your own. They have nice pots and even colorful stones or lava rocks to go on top.The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Drove 2 hrs round trip to this nursery because I was able to see that they had the one succulent I was missing from my list. It was a fun place, in a questionable area & the staff was nice. But the prized succulent I bought & took home was infested with mealybugs ? only giving 2 stars because they had a vast selection of plants but I really did expect better from a specialty nursery

MEALYBUG INFESTATION! I have purchased multiple cacti from the shop in Berkeley and I’ve had to throw out 3 cacti (including my favorite Carnegiea Gigantea). I went back to purchase/replace my Carnegiea and also buy a Stenocactus Multicostatus and I noticed all the cacti inside the greenhouse area had mealybugs. The one pictured is my Rebutia Marsoneri that I decided to try and salvage (it wasn’t nearly as bad as my other cacti). I’m repotting and treating all my cacti ASAP to make sure they didn’t spread. Really disappointed about losing my favorite cacti and all the time it’s taken trying to get rid of these pests I picked up from Cactus Jungle.

So many plants and so well organized! The staff were a true joy. I overheard them helping another customer with a cactus problem at home. They took a detailed history and didn’t just give a quick, unconsidered response. They gave the answer I love to hear: “It sound like it is probably this, but let me look a bit more just to make sure.” They had plants for which I had been searching for quite a while, and the prices were great. Be sure to check out the carnivorous plants section!
