Have some items to look into selling @ Crossroads. Looked into listing on PoshMark and sending off to ThredUp for them to list but it's better on the environment to go through Crossroads because it saves on shipping each item to each buyer. The display on the mannequins is always very cheerful when you walk by on Shattuck. It's near the Central Library.

Way over priced for my thrifty pockets. 3-4 items for $60 at a second hand store no way!!! Smh they have to do better.

Loved the abundance and variety of clothing! However it really was hard to try and move all of the clothes because they were so stuck together! Overall cute store, lots to look at!

Comments as with others. First time other day. Got parking space right in front (lucky). Came from flea market where I sold nothing, so had 5 big plastic containers of clothes. Counter ladies very nice and helpful explaining system. Was a Sunday, 4 person wait in front. Decided to wait as I had parking in front. Brought all 5 plastic bins in (heavy, LOTSA clothes). They chose 3 linen pants from all of that. I earned $18.45. Whoppee! ($30 if I wanted store credit). They did not go thru bag of winter coats (maybe not season they are looking for?). So missed Quicksilver, Abercrombie & Fitch, Morgan brands. Past reviews helped. I didn’t have high expectations. The ladies were nice, but they didn’t take very much at all (3 pieces of ~150.)

If you're selling go to Wasteland or 2nd Street. I've had better experiences selling at both places.

A joke of a place ! They said they wanted winter clothes and they took none of my stuff ... they do have crunchy old sweaters from the 80s tho and oily dirty shoes at the front ! Save your time don't come here

Their way of determining whether or not they are going to buy your items is very inconsistent. All I can say is don’t expect much if you’re planning on selling anything to them.

I myself wasn't super impressed and definitely don't expect to get much if your selling your items. Unless you've saved bags full to take in at once it's really not worth the time.

Supposedly you need an “ID” to sell gently used clothes. ignorant and a dumb rule.. wont be back AT ALL.

The service is terrible. The clothes are over priced yet bad condition. The buying process is terrible and never consistent. I've been going here for more than 10 years and really only come now since buffalo exchange left b town. They also claim they don't buy fast fashion when half of their inventory is Zara and target brands lol

Last week I brought a few men's leather jackets and a beautiful red ski jacket to Crossroads Trading. The clothes, when new, cost about $900.00. They were lightly used and in very nice condition. I brought a simply styled Anne Klien purse which had not been used.I wanted to see what Crossroads Trading might pay for such items. The person who checked the clothes was very polite. A woman who walked around the store answering questions was also very nice. I was offered a $50.00 store credit or $35 cash. I took the cash. I waited about 1.5 hours to have my clothes evaluated. This seemed about what I might expect for such a store that no longer makes appointments.

selling ones clothes can be a vulnerable experience; after all unless we're professional, these are personal decisions we double down on again and again. selling clothes in the 90's, myself being broke ass- was stressful and desperate...I'm blessed to be a little less so and was just doing a closet purge. They bought a fair percentage of what I brought in, and the most refreshing aspect was the lack of attitude- used to be they would give you a whole run down about why they didn't take pieces- even if you didn't ask, which you wouldn't- you'd just try to leave with your dignity. Cashing out Devon was especially friendly and optimistic, commenting other locations might take the pieces they didn't buy today- also different buyers see things different ways, so...very unpretentious all around. The inventory they do have was impressive, lots of well priced pieces in pretty good shape. only criticism is the wait which you really can't fault them- they've remedied this by an app you can use to check in which I will do next time I try to sell.
