Staff at Berkeley CVS is VERY helpful. Just what makes us a returning customer. Thanks CVS.

Unfortunately, this CVS location decides to close whenever they feel like it. They claim to be open until midnight, but they were already closed tonight at 10pm. Some consistency would be nice.

CVS has terrific coupons at CVS. I regularly save a lot—especially when I get the coupons for at least 35% off my entire purchase.

While picking up prescriptions at the Berkeley CVS store I had the help of the pharmacist, David, who truly provided Legendary Customer Service. Thanks to David's help, knowledge and care I will continue to shop at CVS. You are most fortunate to have such an excellent employee.

Astonishingly awful customer service.I've been a regular at the CVS Pharmacy in Berkeley for around four years, and it's been a continual disappointment. The lines are often long and can take up to 30 minutes to get my Rx. The staff generally seem overworked and are often unpleasant to interact with. I blame CVS for treating their employees like s*** but the customer experience for me is that almost all of the pharmacy staff are sour, resentful, and treat you like they're doing you a favor by filling your prescriptions. While they have managed to fill my prescriptions adequately, any inquiry about my medication is met with rigidity and an unwillingness to help.Phone service is no different, with rudeness being a common theme. Despite having seen several managers come and go the service has remained consistently poor. (Although the current manager, Ibraham, is good; but I hate to be in a position where almost every time I have to ask for the manager to help me get my prescription filled.) Even the CVS pharmacy app is dysfunctional. The Rx info in their app often differs from what the staff have in their system when you get there, in-person; which often conflicts with the text messaging system; which often conflicts with the auto-phone call status updates.I finally switched to the pharmacy across the street that is inside a supermarket and they have been terrific -- complete opposite of CVS. Save yourself the stress and go across the street where they seem to value their customers.

I can't say enough good about my experience at this pharmacy. It was well staffed, the woman who took care of me was exceptional at her job. She moved people in and out with a smile, was super efficient and helpful beyond words. The entire store was clean, well lit, well organized and the pharmacy ran as smoothly as a precision clock. I had been thru pharmacy hell until I came to this CVS and now Walgreens will never get another penny from me. I'd give a dozen stars if I could.

Impossible to get help for the clinic, just a kiosk and no one willing to answer questions. Tried to come in person thinking I'd get some help. Could've made an appointment online if I'd known it was just a kiosk

So over the phone they told me they were located on Ashby & Rose ( I asked bc I couldn't here the recording.) You're handing out medicine to ppl & you dont know what St.s you work on Scary! After I told them that someone who answered the phone gave the wrong address she did a whole performance about how there's a recording stating the address. Then the cashier in the pharmacy dept. charged me for something that was covered by my health insurance. Was she too distracted by giving her whole performance or too lazy or too incompetent(?) Next cashier in the pharmacy was total nasty attitude. Incredibly aggressively rude when I had to go back to get my refund bc of their mistake!Cashiers in the pharmacy Meet: Dumb, Snide, and Lazy & incompetent.

If you want to be treated rudely, by all means go to this store and try to talk with a pharmacist. S...ia, RPh lacks any empathy. She is a disgrace to the healthcare professionals who take care of and heal patients everyday. Her abrupt, unresponsive behavior actually contributes to patient's anxiety, thus causing poorer outcomes. I have 45 years working in healthcare as a practitioner, teacher and administrator and she would be summarily terminated if she worked at almost any other facility.Comcast has risen from the cellar of customer service. Apparently, CVS is hell-bent on being the latest company that does not care about their customers. Give me 15 minutes with their staff for Customer Service 101 training. Anyone not passing the test after 15 minutes would be allowed to collect their things and never come back.

This location is listed as being open until midnight. I went by slightly after 10 pm and it was closed. They need to update their hours.

Slow and they don't fill your prescription when the Dr calls it in, instead they make you wait in the super long line then tell you it's not ready and you have to wait another 20 minutes or more.

1) The CVS phone online reservation system I got to directed me to the CVS Minute Clinic s for CVS supplied COVID vaccinations. After many button pushes, the mechanical voice finished with \"system busy, call later.\" I drove up to the Minute Clinic at my neighborhood CVS--they have no boosters. Nor a prospect of getting any. Nor any knowledge of where boosters might be available. 2) As it turns out--the CVS pharmacy 1 foot away from the very same CVS* minute clinic, in the same store, does have boosters. But only by reservations, not for walk ins Reservations only online The kindly pharmacist volunteered that open reservations are now several weeks away. Thus after our flight. 3) However, an elderly woman with whom I'd had a pleasant exchange in the Minute Clinic said she got hers in Safeway, across the street. She was right. I (and Pat) got one updated booster each in 10 minutes. You could even pick Moderna or Pfizer, depending on which flavor you liked. ----SAFEWAY does take reservations, but also does take walk-ins, Either Weekends, or after 3 on weekdays, are your best bets. (We were there at 3 on a Sunday... the only customers.) ----Besides having your COVID vaccination card onto which you'll add this newest one, it is a good idea to have the last 4 digits of your SS number in mind.
