Joel Leu, pharmacy manager during the week, is super-competent. He worked with me and my doc to get a vaccination authorized. It was an unusual situation, requiring finesse and patience. So grateful for him and the CVS team.

This is the best pharmacy in the East Bay, and unfortunately I've been to a lot of them--in Oakland, Walnut Creek, and Berkeley. They are kind, they remember details about you, they never seem impatient. Everyone on this team goes out of their way to accommodate me, and I see them be patient with everyone they work with. This team makes going to the pharmacy--usually the worst part of my day--genuinely pleasurable. I love the team at 1414 University Avenue--the nicest people, the best-stocked pharmacy.

The CVS Pharmacy inside of Target is the best pharmacy I have had in my 35 years here in California. The people with whom I interact are friendly, knowledgeable and thoughful. On top of that, they have always been generous with ther time and they have always gone the extra mile for me.
That's a big deal for me. I'm in a wheelchair and I have to take quite a few medications and they have always been very cognizant of that. When a doctor screws up (that happens sometimes) they havealways made sure I had the meds I need.
Each time I go there, I feel like I'm visiting a friend.

I stood waiting for 15 minutes ringing the bell to get cold medicine. No one ever showed up. So I asked the pharmacist to call for me, which they did. Still no one showed up. I had to go to a different store. Complete waste of time.

This location is great! Most of the staff are pleasant and helpful. There is a young lady with copper colored hair, and an accent however in the Pharmacy area that is beyond rude. She walks away from the counter whenever i walk in, no acknowledgement of my arrival as a customer or that someone will be able to help me but nope, she is allowed to be nasty because i politely declined her suggested forms listing my Rx history. I have the app and simply didn't want the excess paper to carry. Now when i walk in she just walks away from the counter. It’s one thing to have an experience that may be awkward but to have a professional mistreat you repeatedly as it has been 3/4x since I have been here and she still does it, at this point it’s just uncalled for and quite frankly ignorant of her! However Target/CVS needs to know about this behavior.
