Dark Carnival Imaginative Fiction Bookstore is a very cozy and magical shop with a welcoming atmosphere. It is not your typical mainstream stuff, offering an impressive and wide selection of books. This includes sci-fi, horror, fantasy, folktales from different cultures, lesser-known novels, classic novels, and unique content. The comics section is well organized with all genres and plenty of art styles. Shelves and piles of books are everywhere across two levels, with a somewhat organized but also random feel, requiring customers to pick through every section to find gems. The staff is friendly, patient, and helpful. There is a dragon in the kids section and playful gift items. For purchases, visitors need to pay at the comic book shop next door. It is a cool and awesome bookstore for curious readers.
I visited this bookstore a few weeks back and honestly have not stopped thinking about it. The atmosphere is stellar, like you're wandering an old wizard's cozy collection. So many amazing books, and as a collector of vintage fantasy mass-markets, this place was heaven. Highly highly recommend!!
