Whitney is the best! Love the highlights and lowlights she places in my hair. She's very intuitive about dimension and placement of the highlights and lowlights. She's an absolute genius. The salon is cute and carries several lines of quality hair products.

I have been fortunate enough to have Nerissa cut my hair for about a year now. She is incredible! So much technique and so thorough. She takes her time and gets it done right. Explains what she’s doing to your hair as well and always looks for input. I also had her do my color today for the first time and needless to say she essentially corrected The last four times I’ve had my hair colored and all the unevenness that was going on. I cannot recommend Nerissa or the salon highly enough!

I've FINALLY found my Bay Area stylist and salon! After shopping around for the past 6 years, I've settled in with Alex for cuts and color this year and I'm so relieved. I visited first for her to correct color I disliked that I'd had done elsewhere; and then to correct a cut I disliked that I'd had done elsewhere; and twice now for regular maintenance. I'll be back again.
Communication with Alex has been easy and results with both cut and color have been great, but I'm especially grateful for her talent with color—
I grew up a natural blonde; in my 20s and early 30s my hair started darkening to the point that people who'd known me forever thought I was blonde, while people I'd just met thought I was brunette; and then I had a baby: after postpartum hair loss, my look rapidly turned to a dull mousy brown-grey. So when I go in for color, I'm just trying to turn the clock back a decade—subtle, natural, convince everyone else I look like I imagine I look, but like you didn't do anything at all—easy ;)
Anyway, Alex nails it. I've tried boosting my old sun highlights with three other stylists over the years, and none came close. Between appointments with Alex I half convinced myself I'd magically turned into a natural blonde again. My mom thought so too!
Also, not critical to me but a plus: the salon is nice and stylish without feeling overdone, and I appreciate that I don't feel pressured to be chatty when I'm tired. All together, exactly what I'm looking for.
