Disorganized and poor customer service. Dropped off my car for service, at a local shop and made a car reservation while waiting for the Uber to able to finish my appointments. The app said they had cars available, so I reserved one. Fast forward to arrival: I give my name. Woman at the desk says "we don't have any cars, we would have called and told you if you didnt walk in 3 minutes after making a reservation. " Floored. Unsure how I'm responsible for your crappy app that rents cars you don't have. In not so many words she asks what do you want me to do we have no cars? Ideally your job. So I asked her to hop on the phone and call another location have them bring a car. She calls unenthusiastically, asks 3 locations if I they have the exact car type I ordered. turned off from the whole engagement, I just walked out and left. Had to cancel the rest of my appointments for the day. Executive elite. Corporate customers don't matter here. Go anywhere else.

My car was parked and someone hit it. The insurance company promised me the same type of car. Which was a 4 door truck.Enterprise said they only had an SUV. But they said I had to pay an additional $50 a day. I complained but it was take it or leave it.I returned the vehicle which I had for 11 days. The agent confirmed the 11 day rental. I paid my portion of the daily rental. (Which was more than the entire rental fee from other companies)I asked for the contract so I can try and get the extra expenses back from the insurance company.They actually charged me for 12 days.I complained and they said that their policy is to add a full day for any portion of a rental. So basically if you pick up a car Monday at 5pm and bring it back on Tuesday at 8am they charge you for TWO Days. Disgusting…I called and asked about it. And they said that’s how they charge. I said I would ask my credit card company to take off one day and they said that if I did I would be black listed and could never rent from Enterprise again.

I've used Enterprise Rent-a-Car exclusively for all the rentals I have needed for quite a number of years. I recently had what began as a slightly UN-pleasant experience (the car I picked up had a light on the dashboard indicating something was wrong) but Enterprise immediately made things better! They gave me a different car (and it was an upgrade from the car I had had originally) AND when the time came to return the rental, they took a significant amount off of the total cost of the rental. Every member of the staff I spoke to were very cordial, friendly, and accommodating, and that counts for a lot with me. I will stick with Enterprise!

Friendly, helpful staff. They made sure I was familiar with all the features of my rental and understood the return procedure. I had questions and they had the answers. I will continue to use their service in every case I need a rental!

Do not come here if you need a specific vehicle type. I reserved a seven-passenger vehicle (for a much higher rate) because I needed to haul my extended family around. Nevertheless, when I checked in, the manager (Bertha Ramirez) did not tell me that my reserved vehicle type (and, in fact, any seven passenger vehicle) was unavailable. Instead, she had me sit for 20 minutes waiting to be taken out to the lot, and I did not learn that there were no seven-passenger vehicles available until I overheard her tell other customers that their reserved type (minivan) was unavailable, and suggested they walk around the lot and choose something else (which she never suggested to me). Most troublingly, Bertha blamed the situation on me, and said that I made the reservation too late, even though I had made the reservation two days prior (including one business day). Even if I needed to make my reservation weeks in advance (which, of course, is not stated anywhere and is otherwise unreasonable), the very least she could have done is give me a call the morning of my reservation to let me know and save me the trip down to the branch. Unfortunately, it is woefully apparent that Bertha simply does not care about whether customers get what they reserve or that they are taken care of in a timely manner. I saw complaints about her in other reviews and tried to give her the benefit of the doubt--I suggest you save yourself the trouble and not make the same mistake I did. The one saving grace about this place is that the other employees actually do seem to care. Shoutout to them.

We had a truly horrible experience here and I just saw that others have had similarly bad experiences. I booked a car by phone. When I arrived there was a long line, so I called to verify that the car was reserved and was told it was waiting for me. When I got to the front of the line 30 min. later, they told me that my call had been to the Enterprise Service Center and this branch does not communicate with them, so the Enterprise Service Center has no idea what their inventory actually is when they confirm a car is reserved. I'd had to take a LYFT there. They told me to LYFT to another Enterprise in Richmond and an SUV may be available for $1000 (I'd been quoted $380 by the Enterprise Service Center). They were not apologetic about what had happened. Noting also that the positive reviews about customer service here seem fake.

Really nice selection of cars. Very busy location and can be a bit of a wait but the manager, Bertha, is very polite and accommodating to customers.

HORRIBLE. Is there anything less than 1 star? I booked a car via phone. I received an email confirmation. I took Uber to pick up the car, I showed up at the hour requested, but the car was not available. They offered me a sport utility 3 times the price. The branch manager, Ms. Bertha Ramirez, was dismissive, she barely made eye contact. Oh, they did say they are sorry! Folks, reservation does not mean anything here.

One of the worst and incompetent Enterprise locations. They called and canceled the morning of my reservation because they didn’t have any cars. Then they called back and said that they had a car and the price would be $500 so I go there and when I get there I’m told it’s actually $1,900. They left me stranded in San Francisco during Thanksgiving and I had to spend thanksgiving alone in a hotel room. Incompetent and rude staff ruined the holidays for me.

It was Very busy upon my arrival at this location, yet the personal assistants came with greater who let me know someone would be with me soon and offered me a seat while I wait. The delay was only because it was busy on a Friday afternoon just before closing. Although I requested a hybrid model it was said that they didn’t have any available at the time. Even though i paid extra for the hybrid they offer me a Sentra Nissan SV which was more than I expected to buy buy gasoline more often than a hybrid. This car also needed to get air put in the tire twice during my rental period. Overall the team was amazing and helpful.

Bait and switch is the new normal at Enterprise. When you get to the car rental office you will be told your completed Expedia reservation isn’t “confirmed”, and the only option is a much more expensive vehicle. If the reservation is meaningless to Enterprise, it’s impossible to do business with the company.

The services was really good. The employees were really sweet and they also offered me a drop off to my home on a Sunday which they usually don't offer on a weekend

People there are nice but very understaffed and under stocked for rentals. I'd recommend making reservations first before walking in.

I had the pleasure of renting a vehicle by first Yousef and then Armoni. Both gentlemen were extremely kind, very knowledgeable and expedited the rental quickly. They were able to answer all of my questions and get me on my way. I highly recommend this enterprise on 3001 Shattuck and will definitely return if the need arises. Great job Guys I loved the Sentra
