TL;DR: Damaged an expensive pair of jeans and instead of acknowledging the issue, proceeded to lie, yell and bang the counter
LONG VERSION: I took a very nice pair of jeans to get hemmed here. When I picked them up, they looked very off and after trying to tell me they were perfect, the woman working there eventually agreed to "try again". I couldn't quite place my finger on what was wrong until I got home and checked another pair that was hemmed elsewhere. What I realized is Flamingo had hemmed the pants as though they were dress slacks instead of jeans - completely removing the pants cuff.
When I went back a few days later, the jeans looked slightly better but were still missing a normal cuff. Just in case, I had brought another pair of jeans from the same brand that had been hemmed to show the woman what they're supposed to look like. At first she tried to claim the pair I brought in couldn't possibly have been hemmed. Then she claimed if I wanted my pants hemmed "that" way it would have cost me double. Finally when it became clear she had damaged my jeans she started (literally) screaming "don't like it? Go to court" over and over again while slamming a ruler against the counter. Definitely the most unprofessional experience I've had in a long time and BY FAR the worst dry cleaners I've ever encountered.

Beware, clothes come back dirty but pressed but not clean. Beware be sure you get a copy of all ur garments that you take, if u want everything back I paid $100.00 for clothes not cleaned. Advised owner I was missing a garment my coat she argued no, I finally got my coat she then said I pay owe her 30.00 dollars instead of $20.00 never again I repored to police she does not deserve any star. Never again

I want to give this business more stars bc the woman was very nice, did good alterations to my jackets and vest, but whatever dry cleaning process they did left a coating on the jackets that feels almost wet and the smell of chemicals is so strong that I have to take everything to be cleaned in order to remove the smell and residue. $140 down the drain. So disappointed.

I dropped a blouse off for an alteration and it was expertly tailored within 24 hours. I couldn't be more pleased especially when Advanced European Tailoring had the same blouse for 3 MONTHS and still didn't do the work. The owner of European Tailoring was totally rude, unreliable, and lied to me over and over about the status of my blouse. I recommend FLAMINGO for all of your alterations needs.

I love thrift shopping but hated when I would find a pair of great pants that are too long. That's when I learned I can have it altered so a 5'1" girl like me can wear them. I'm so happy to have found out I lived near a cleaners that can do alterations. I had a pair of pants and overalls that were too long. I had to pay $40 ($20/each) and the lady even fixed the waist length of the pants sinced it sacked for me free of charge! (I asked if I could pay for the extra service but she said it was fine because I'm a student.) The lady was very kind and sweet to me, and we even chatted a bit about Korean Dramas since she was playing one on the TV. I'm sad to have seen many low-rated reviews of the place, but I say still come in for their alterations service. I'll be coming back here again!

Absolute ripoff. Charged me $190 to wash and dry a queen sized comforter and some bed sheets. Please go somewhere else. Such a waste and taking advantage of poor students who don't know any better

I needed 2 shirts pressed for a concert that night and I showed up asking for her to do with 29 mins till they closed. SHE SAID COME BACK IN 30MIN she had them already waiting for me!! This is an AWESOME PLACE FOR DRY CLEANING, ALTERATIONS AND PRESSING!

Awful experience!Never ever. They didn't remove the spot from my clothes. When I refused to pay he called the cops and made me cry. Shame on him! He spent taxpayers money for nothing and how this place is still open?
