Don't do yoga personally, but if I did, I'd choose Funky Door Yoga. Great atmosphere, Amazing customer service and generally a great piece of mindfulness.

I was in Berkeley for a week and took the early class here every morning. All the teachers were amazing. The front desk staff was super helpful and kind. Highly recommended.

I just moved to sf and am so grateful to have found this wonderful community. The staff are so supportive and the energy in the studio is unmatched! There really isn’t a hot yoga studio in the city like funky door yoga.
Funky Door Yoga opened in 2001 by Lynn Whitlow & Jeff Renfro. It quickly became known as THE YOGA HOT SPOT around the world, winning many awards, featured in numerous commercials, movies, and yoga documentaries.
The studio is a cross between a museum and a fun palace, filled with cartoons by renowned illustrator Ed Renfro.
Lynn & Jeff sold the studio in 2006 and went on to open up many other yoga studios, including Yoga Hell Petaluma, Yoga Hell Brooklyn and Hella Yoga Berkeley.
Funky Door closed at the start of the pandemic in March 2020. After being dark for 18 months, they teamed up with Ry Toast and Carl Stoeber to resurrect Funky Door in all its glory.
