Maybe it’s just been a long time since i was in a thrift store, and that makes me out of touch, but the clothing in this place seems grossly overpriced. You can buy new or on sale for the prices they want on just everyday clothing items.
Household items seemed more reasonably priced.

although smaller than the one in West Berkeley, it more densely packed; plus, the staff was very kind and patient as I tried headphones ‘n asked to see to the sizes of several shoes behind the counter. However, I reserve the last star for Out of Closet.

This is the first time I discovered a second-hand store in San Francisco. The prices are cheap. You can come in and have a look. They have clothes, pants, dresses, shoes, and daily necessities. The quality depends on your requirements.

An update..be aware. I went to goodwill on Santa Clara ca. Got me a sweater and it was infested with bugs!ALL GOODWILL STORES ARE THE SAME. HIGH PRICES FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS DONATED TO HELP THE ONE CANT AFFORD NEW CLOTHES. PLUS GOODWILL USE VOLUNTEERS TO BE ON THE FLOOR ARRANGING STUFF. SO AFTER GOODWILL CHARGE OUTRAGEOUS PRICES THEY USE VOLUNTEERS. WHERE DOES ALL THAT MONEY GOES!?..Too expensive for a second hand store or thrift store. I suggest check Target not Walmart before shopping at Goodwill.n

I would like to thank the Goodwill producing I think it's very makes for stronger communities and job training thing that you did very corny I was at that one has had in this is just me but I have a pet peeve about being followed run a company steal something which that one has actually choosing your before in the past. Go do your Halloween shopping in at that Goodwill they got a lot of cool stuff. I bought the Bluetooth speaker/radio that I'm going to take a picture of for less than $7 today and a hat for less than three very happy with that be "Good", or be good at" it"..Reptile

Accessories galore! Come here for homewares after dorm move outs in May for lot of great stuff. I've found art, bubble candles, and more! Don't underestimate the men's section: great pants.

I was here a couple weeks ago to purchase some clothes for the winter and was really happy with my experience. The store was really clean and organized which made it easy to find where different kinds of clothes were.The staff were extremely friendly in answering all my questions and helping me search for clothes. There was a lady there named Devi who went above and beyond to help me find a coat in the right size.I would recommend this Goodwill to anybody looking for an excellent shopping experience.

This place has really turned around for the best! I've lived next door my whole life !Yesterday was a bit bare in the plate area since it's their discount day I'm sureRecently very Surprised at such welcoming and warm greetings and professional help from who seemed to be new to the management team so glad they are filling up their staff with such high quality patient and understanding professionals. She was clearing the floors smiling checking on guests as they shopped respectfully passing people fixing displays and seemed to be everywhere at onceEven dealing with thiefs it was handled so calmly and she made everyone in the store feel considered and safe without yelling ! Those clothing ladies always do such a good job also that Dev lady every time I see her she's above and beyond everything whatever she's doingNo long lines or over strung conversations recently. Goodwill you must be implementing new age training! Bringing us to this decade in customer service and work environment standards ! Glad to see the upgrades ! Air conditioning or air filtration next please?And seemingly less hostility as well from staff in general just a couple sour guys it seemed but ehhThe random sections in the back definitely needs more supervision otherwise after all these years I am not just going to good will to get something I need randomly in a pinch but now me and my friends and family come for the increased competitive selection and great vybzzzz!glad to see our donations going into their proper compensation it seems for such great work ethicsKeep up the wonderful standards and those cashiers I believe Bobby and Denisie are just wonderful individuals and we love the way management shows the front support ! They've been here for awhile and seem to always be in great spirits as well and we love to be apart of it thank you GW Family for thriving in our neighborhood!

I was in dire need of some items for my client, and Damian and Bobby were so helpful!! Damian knew exactly where to point me and did it with a smile. Despite the store being quite busy, it was organized and clean. Bobby was greeting every customer that walked through the door. Bobby and Damian truly turned my day around.

This store, unfortunately, can no longer be viewed as a neighborhood community partner - be sure to check your receipt for unauthorized donation to run up to the next whole dollar! I have came to this location regularly for more than 20 years! And had met many friendly and hardworking staff over the years until last Wed(7/19). A new face- a young man whom I have not seen before automatically added $.96 to my purchase. Upon hearing my inquiry, he dismissively questioned me why I bothered by just $.96!!! When I noted that he should have asked beforehand, he looked at me as if I was asking him to do me an unreasonable favor! The whole experience was both upsetting and unnecessary! He could have asked and took responsibility of his negligence. I subsequently returned to the store right before the closing time to demand the return of my $.96. The store manager who quietly gave me 4 Quarters. That young store clerk still had the nerve to say " we don't worry about $.96" after I mentioned that I did not have 4 pennies with me. I was appalled by the unprofessional and frankly unethical conduct in a Goodwill store by someone who is actually being trained to handle money! Bottom line- always ask for a receipt to check; don't be bullied! Best yet, spending your money elsewhere that do not take paying customers for granted!

The clothing areas are decent, maybe a little too over crowded so its hard to browse around for jeans etc. What has gotten so fruatrating and it is at every single Goodwill from brentwood CA, to Concord CA to San Fransisco CA, the shelves have many many many items that are missing pieces or broken and should not be on the shelves to sell. There's alot of junk there now and it never use to be that way.
There also use to be many many nice designer handbags sunglasses etc and i no that workers will have family or friends come in to buy the good ones before a customer can see any of them. Same with other good items. Salvation Army is alot better now...
