Like two other people, I bought a kite online from them and they took my money, but never sent me a kite. I tried contacting them through email, phone, message, and nothing. I kept getting automated emails from them during the purchasing process, and have a confirmation order from April 2023. I wish I had seen these reviews. Highline Kites, please shut down your website if you're closed, or stop taking peoples´ money if you can't do online business.

Do not purchase from this company!I placed an order for a kite during the first week of December of 2022. As of February 2023, I still have not received this order nor have I been able to contact the seller. I have messaged them via their website, called the contact number several times and left messages, and even texted another number they said could they could be reached through.In over two months, the seller has not bothered to respond and my order is still listed as "Awaiting Fulfillment."I've disputed the charge, and am filing complaints with state and local consumer protection agencies, as well as the BBB.

Full review pending and possible buyer beware:I am an avid kite flyer and I stumbled upon the Highline Kites website back in November 2022. I placed two kite orders with them and I have not received my orders. They have taken the money for said orders, but the status of said kites is “awaiting fulfillment“. I cannot get ahold of anyone on the phone or leave a message as “the mailbox is currently full and cannot receive any new messages at this time. Goodbye.” I also have been emailing them with no responses received. I have since learned that this is a mobile (van) business and does not have a brick and mortar location.I would be very, very leery of purchasing anything from Highline kites.

Flying kites in Berkeley is a tradition that should be passed along from generation to generation. Its the same as buying a kite here at HighLine Kites. The worlds smallest kite shop. Tom (the owner) wont let you down on a getting a great kite deal. Take some time out of life to enjoy the simple things. GO FLY A KITE IN BERKELEY!! He is there on the weekends shows up around 130pm if you need any help look around for me and I can get you started.HAVE SOME FUN IN THE SUN THIS SUMMER AND GO FLY A KITE!

Located right in the Berkeley Marina, the Highline Kites mobile shop is a convenient place to buy your kite right next to some of the best windy kite spots in town. The owner Tom is super friendly and knows a lot about kites, and you can tell it's his passion. I am a complete newbie to kiting but knew I wanted a quad-line kite since I saw it years ago from the Berkeley Kite Festival. When it wasn't too busy, Tom was kind enough to help show me how to set it up and get started. It looks like they had a range of kites ranging from beginner single lines all the way to the stunt quad line that I bought. After some time practicing and several kite crashes later, I finally was getting the hang of flying it with control. Highly recommend getting a kite from here!

He was very nice and explained for us how to use our kite. Also when we crashed and broke our kite he explained how we can fix it and even helped partially fix it for free.

Family oriented. My kids got lots of fun. Wind was strong we lost a kite?. But it was fun!
