I would give it 10 stars if I could I was washing 4 loads of laundry at once and I had my 2 year old who wasn’t feeling so great and I was having a really rough rough morning as I’m trying to take clothes out of the top dryer while holding my 3 year old the 2 women there working jumped in and helped me right away I’m not used to having help but they insisted not knowing I was having such a hard hard day that meant the world to me thank you both so so much for helping me I was in tears that’s why I was trying to leave so fast thank you again for your kindness it really meant so much to me

I have been washing at this laundromat for months now. I am very pleased with quality of service. The machines are always clean and the cost of dryers are a plus for me. It is a great location because it right off of San Pablo. There are plenty of parking and there are several coffee shops near by. The owners are very accommodating and if there is any issues with machines they are available to fix the problem.

Friendly, safe and well maintained. This place has made major improvements and the staff works very hard to provide a great experience to everyone.

Holiday Coin has recently undergone significant changes with the introduction of new management. The establishment now boasts brand-new washers and dryers, replacing the old, dysfunctional ones that had been causing issues. Additionally, measures have been taken to address previous concerns, such as individuals sleeping in front of the laundromat. The updated facilities now offer improved seating areas and dedicated spaces for folding clothes, enhancing the overall experience for customers. These positive changes reflect a commitment to providing a more welcoming and efficient environment for patrons of Holiday Coin.

The worst laundromat that I have ever seen. I had to pay 6$ instead of $3.25 because coins were not counted. I also tried to use my debit card and it charged me $5 instead of $0.75. Avoid this place.

90% of the machines don't work. The dryers continue to take my money when I put 24mins it only gives me 6mins. I'm so frustrated with 3loads to dry

The worst place to wash. Don't go for any reason. It has no coin-changing machines and is full of homeless people.Very bad

Funny to read the reviews NOW! I would have thought these people were exaggerating about multiple washers being tagged as broken had I not experienced this place for myself. I actually didn't mind too much, I only needed one each time I visited for laundry. I had a huge issue that the store front was someone's HOME. THE BUGGY OF RANDOM STUFF WAS UNNERVING! At one point THEY we're home standing guard. I couldn't believe this was allowed. I felt uncomfortable with being inside, I also felt like my car was being scooped by the homeless. It was a challenge I faced every week during my time in Berkeley. The attendant was there on all but one occasion and, it made me feel at ease. She seems really nice! I'd think twice about the whole area, but if work permits my return and hopefully remember there was another down the street around the corner .

15 of 34 washers out of order. All 3 of the max large out of order. Yet hardly anyone was using machines so plenty available for me. On 4/29/22 coin machine still out of order, from 1/3 according to signage. I guess from now on I'll need to check coin machine before I have all my washing machines going. Luckily had quarters enough, but now I'll be in trouble if I arrive at the next place and their change machine is broken. No rest room, but no surprise there, street being open to University Ave. Door to parking lot closed out of order. One big plus is plenty of parking though. Foster Freeze that shares parking lot for decades apparently has no other ties to the laundromat. Would not give quarters or say where a rest room might be. Not sure whether temps on dryer might be running a bit warmer than I am used to. Good for faster drying. Cross my fingers low is low enough to not shrink--but I am extra paranoid about that compared to others I think. I might come again if I am in the neighborhood cause parking is easy, if it is uncrowded then, if I have managed to replenish my coin supply, and I won't need a rest room, but I kind of don't like it.

Need to fix machines and keep homeless people out of the place.
