Ink Stone is a wonderful local independent art store in DT Berkeley. It is a great art store for quality goods, with really good art supplies including sketch books, and lots of 3d art supplies like clay and foam. It also has everything one might need, including a journal and sketchbook section and architecture supplies. The staff is friendly, very knowledgeable, super nice, and extremely helpful. They provide high quality and fast scans of any blueprints or plans, as well as print jobs like mounted posters with very fast turnaround and super reasonable prices. It is highly recommended, especially for architecture students, as the first place to go for supplies and scans. Support local and independent!

I went there to get copies of an architectural drawing. I had no idea that it's also an art store with everything one might need. I especially liked the journal and sketchbook section. Great place that I somehow never knew about until now.
