Everything you think of when it comes to the shadiest businesses out there. These guys fit the description. If your company sends these guys out for Roadside assistance request another company. Believe me you will thank me.

Ah, the unparalleled service of M&A Towing an experience genuinely unforgettable. The concierge service is of impeccable excellence, though it does come with a bevy of charming fees. The welcome is flawless, and the driver fetches the car out with such grace! And oh, the variety of fees are the hidden gems of this service. The “gate fee,” “administrative fee,” “storage fee,” and the ever-so-subtle “dollies fee,” all contribute to the unique charm of the experience, ensuring one departs with a considerably lighter wallet. In retrospect, the intricate layering of costs is like a fine symphony, each fee playing its part in a beautiful harmonious ballet of monetary extraction. I do hope to relive this delightful adventure soon.

My RV was ordered to be towed by the City of Berkeley.Out of the 4 companies that the City contracts with to tow vehicles, M&A was called for my RV.Parking Enforcement allowed me to retrieve some of my belongings from inside my RV before they loaded it onto the tow truck. And, before they started to haul it away, the truck driver asked me for the key so that he could put it in Neutral. And, because I don't have a key for the driver's door and only one for the "house" door, I unlocked the coach door again and handed him the ignition key.I am a mechanic. I have various tools and auto parts that I keep in my RV. I grabbed quite a few of said tools and parts before the tow truck got here.Unfortunately , I made the mistake of leaving the stock 2021 Hyundai Sonata stereo unit (with all necessary wiring harnesses) that I had in plain view in a container just inside the coach door. While my RV was in the storage lot, one of their employees stole the stereo. When I retrieved my RV from M&A Towing's storage lot, just a few hours later, I was surprised to find that they never took the transmission out of Neutral. I thought that was odd and rather irresponsible. They had to remove the rack that was mounted to my hitch receiver in order to not drag it as they towed my RV. Which is totally understandable and acceptable. It has an old fashioned steamer trunk strapped to it. It's kinda heavy. What I don't understand and what is absolutely not acceptable is the fact that when I got my rack and trunk back, both latches on the trunk were open and the lid was ajar and crooked. It's bad enough that M&A Towing charged $530 for the transportation of and the 5 hours that they stored my RV. That alone is highway robbery...But, the fact that they snooped through my personal belongings and stole from me is criminal.I know that tow companies are essentially above the law. But, somebody's gotta do something about their employees burglarizing vehicles that they are paid to care for.M&A Towing is basically charging people for the privilege of having their vehicles robbed. If I could rate them negative stars, I absolutely would.

They picked up my broken car in a fairly short time and took it back to my place without too much trouble.

Caught the tow truck driver hooking up my car before driving away, lucky for me. But, unluckily for me the driver made up a ridiculous price off the top of his head because he had to drive over there. The company lacks integrity and abuses its high leverage and low accountability.

Very shady place/prices. My vehicle got impounded around 10:30 pm. I went to pick it up at 9:30AM the next day, less than 12 hours, and they charged me 2 days of storage ($85 per day) on top of the $220 towing fee.Their reasoning for the 2 day charge was because the system "automatically" charges a second day after midnight. The worst part is that they say in their services that they only return your property from 8am to 3pm. So any time your car gets towed after 3 pm, you are gonna have to pay at least twice the storage fee

Even if this is your last resort do NOT call this company. The driver hung up on me because his office is "closed."But this is a 24/7 towing company that my complex has always used even after Monday-Friday! Y'all are a joke. We will not be using this towing company anymore for our complex. You just lost your business. Shame of you.
