Mai's tailoring skills are unsurpassed. She is a true gem; nobody in the bay area compares. And she has very hard to find luxury fabric items that I love to give as gifts and collect myself!

NON-RESPONSIVE, NEVER OPEN, DO NOT BOTHER - I tried repeatedly over six months to visit this business. You cannot drop by -- they are never open during regular business hours -- I came numerous days at numerous times, (fed the parking meters, too) only to find the door locked. I'd call the number(s) listed on the sign in the front window and leave messages -- but no one ever returned my call. What a waste of my time. HORRIBLE.

My husband bought me a black cashmere shawl with cranes, hand embroidered by Mai. It is exquisite. Mai also makes masks with a filter between a layer of silk and cotton. Comfortable and effective. For each mask sold, she gives a contribution to an a nursing association

I like to get my dress clothes tailored to fit me better. If I get the work done at the local dry cleaner, I find the items never lay quite right after, and there's visible differences between the factory work and the tailor's sewing. Mai tailored a pair of work pants for me, and the work came out very neat and clean. You can't tell they were altered at all. If you're a bit of a perfectionist about how your clothes fit, this place does good work.

I asked Mai to embroider a plain duvet (that I bought at Ross) with blue birds and vines to match my bedroom. It is wonderful. And she is so pleasant to work with.

I agree the shop is lovely. Mai is helpful and accomadating. her embroidery skills are exquisite. Her sense of style and beauty is divine. She listens. She wrapped each gift that I bought beautifully and enclosed it in its own hand embroidered, exquisite pouch, a gift of which to be proud.

Lovely little shop, well thought out, with a beautiful array of handcrafted items by this talented artist. She makes anything with silk and paint them beautifully with colorful thread!! I could have bought everything in the shop, but ended up with a hand embroidered scarf for now. I may well find her online and buy a few more for friends. Really pleased I found the shop!

Love to shop here! This is a small boutique offering high quality creations. Shop for clothing, accessories and home décor - silk scarves, crinkled silk dresses, embroidered cashmere shawls and the best hand crafted silk comforters in town. They will do custom work within a week.
