I actually used to work here during the pandemic. it's a good McDonald's. They have a clean kitchen and the atmosphere is very calm. There is never anyone in the dining room when I go there!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the customer service, which was both rude and disrespectful. I urge the management to address this issue, as such behavior can seriously harm a business. Leaders should take immediate action.This incident occurred on Saturday, January 27th, at 2:30 AM at the drive-thru. We initially ordered an Oreo McFlurry. Upon receiving it, we realized that it was actually an M&M McFlurry. When we requested the correct order, the employee asked us to return the incorrect one. As a former restaurant worker, I know this isn’t sanitary, especially since we had already started eating it. We suggested keeping it to avoid waste, but the employee responded rudely, insisting we need to return it now to receive the correct order. Her demeanor and tone were extremely off-putting. Despite my polite request, she continued to be rude, throwing away the M&M McFlurry in a harsh way and giving us the Oreo one with a noticeable attitude and rudeness!! Very poor costumer service. Because of this experience, I have decided not to patronize this establishment again. I hope this gets attention as every worked is the face for McDonalds.

2023: went back after two days. Cost is now over $10 for a cheeseburger meal and you need to pay $0.25 if you want to drink out of a cup but worst of all the fries were not fully cooked and the meat tasted rotten.2022: Went back after several years. Wouldn’t take my order at the drive through.——They 1) Didn't include any ketchup even though I asked for it, 2) Did sweeten the coffee even though I did not ask for that 3) Really difficult to find entrance (I saw about 4 cars miss it while I was waiting), and 4) The drive-through payment windows is placed next to a circle, which makes it super difficult for employees and customers to swap money. Back to architecture school!

I have only used the drive-thru and I only buy their breakfast. Great experiences. Breakfast burritos, bacon egg & cheese biscuit and hash browns. Cannot go wrong.Classics

Well, it's McDonald's.... This is probably the best managed McDonald's in the Oakland/Berkeley area. Generally cleaner and it's fast, like the old days and UNlike most others within a reasonable distance. Additionally, friendly staff that deserve recognition considering corporate McDonald's has screwed up their entire system to such a degree that it's more often better to skip the hassle and long waits.This McDonald's is different and brings back memories when fast food wasn't slow.However, it kinda sucks to rate a restaurant high for actually meeting expectations, which in the service business should be the rule, not the exception.
