they took care of my shoes with a resoling and heel block replacement. They finished my shoes on time. The staff seemed caring toward my shoes. They removed more scuffs than I thought anybody could. I will definitely recommend them and come back in the years to come.

I brought in a few pairs of loafers to see if they could add some sole protection. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Price was about $65/pair. The gentlemen that helped me there were kind, helpful and knowledgeable. I googled around SF and the east bay and glad I went with Model Shoe. Highly recommended

I love this place! They repaired my sofa cushions, and the work was impecable! ...I needed them urgently, and they were able to accommodate the timing so that I could get them on time!! The guy who works here is very friendly but the woman is not. It is way more expensive than other local she repair spots and I took a chance hoping that would mean they did great work but I retrieved my shoe back that had a small tear on the bottom with a whole new chunk of leather that doesn't even match. They are Tory sandals I had forgot for a couple months there and the woman made the remark of how much easier it would be for her if I had my ticket pretty bold for someone that is about to hand me back a ruined designer shoe.

Excellent restoration of my vintage Coach purse!! They did above and beyond what I could imagine--my leather purse, which had stains and a broken, torn-up handle, was brought back to beautiful perfection! The dark indigo almost-black color was restored impeccably, and the purse still has that gorgeous matte finish. I also bring our shoes to be repaired here. Very grateful to the talented, skilled crew and will keep coming back. Highly recommend!

Omg! This place just changed my entire outlook on shoes. Came in to buy a new pair of blundstones because the heeled ones hurt my feet. Delightful human running the shop told me what I actually need is proper insoles. He fitted my current boots with new soles and I instantly have no more foot pain. And he shined my boots up! Amazing amazing amazing. Will be coming back here for absolutely everything shoe related. Starting with my worn out Birkenstocks, which apparently it is no issue to completely re-sole. ????

I had some shoes that the stitching had started to come apart on. Unfortunately, I waited until 3 days before I needed to wear them to take them in (fully expecting them not to be ready in time! That was my fault!). However, Model Shoe was able to finish them in time, polish them up, and have me looking spiffy in time! The workmanship looks great- you can't tell where they've been repaired, and they were super friendly! Cash is preferred there due to card fees and parking can be difficult, so plan for both of those!

I love this place, and I have been coming for years. I got my leather bag cleaned and repaired, along with countless pairs of shoes and boots. I am sure they are expensive, but the quality is worth it, and the service is perfect every time.
