“I love this store and the staff and I absolutely love the Farrow and Ball paint quality. You cannot match these colors and quality - it looks different in different lighting - it's alive.
I've done 3 projects so far with this paint (including wood) and am just starting on the third!”

stopped in just this morning to pick up some wood stain and the samples they had out were so helpful to see in person, there's just no comparison to squinting at digital samples online and seeing wildly different colors everywhere.
they were responsive over email too which i really appreciate!”

“Needed some applewood pellets for my smoker. I called, they told me they stored the pellets away for the season but happy to check to see if they had the applewood. They did and brought up a bag from storage and had it at the counter for me when I came to pick it up. Needed it because I'm making homemade bacon”

“Incredibly helpful and patient staff. I've never had a bad experience with the crew at Mark's Paint. I was in recently to look at wood stain and a team member went out of their way to make swatches so that I could see the end result of various stain colors. I never felt rushed or in the way. Great place for anything paint/stain related.”

“Last week, I purchased a pizza slicer from another store, but it broke when I attempted to use it. I came to Laurel Ace to get a replacement because I know that its products are sturdy.
Marcos, the associate who assisted me, not only directed me to the proper aisle, but, to my surprise and gratification, TESTED the slicer to make sure that it would hold up! As if this wasn't enough, I also told me that I could bring it back if I had any problems.
I ALWAYS get great service at my neighborhood Ace, but young Marcos is among the BEST associates who I've ever been blessed to deal with. You can NEVER lose by going to Laurel Ace, particularly if he assists you.”

“Great Service by the whole team! Arnold the store manager helped me and did a fantastic job. Tucker the Assistant provided me with tools to make it easier to select colors. Jose and Tayveon greeted me at the door and spoke to me for a couple minutes about how choosing the best roller and brush is important for each project! Gustavo also made sure to check me out as soon as my paint was ready. Overall this team really knows what legendary service looks like.”
“I love ace hardware stores even more than lowes... home depot may be cheaper but they suck if youre looking for a specific type of bolt or something...say a reverse threaded bolt... youll NEVER find that at home depot..”

He found me the exact match, which I really appreciated. Not only did he provide great info, but the level of service was even better! “The most fabulous, friendly customer service one could hope for. I was repainting my office and had brought in a paint chip sample to color-match, that turned out to be too small, and I didn't have time to go back and forth. One of the staff heard my plight and came out to help me see if we could color-match it by sight (he said he was good) from the sample cards on the wall. I kid you not, we found a perfect match (he was good)!!!! I do think the original paint had likely come from Sherwin-Williams, which was a huge help, but seriously, I could not have been more stoked. They helped me make sure I had what I needed, and when I returned a week later for more paint to do a second accent wall, they remembered me by name and were just as helpful. It's so nice to go to a local business where people really care.”
“I swung by this store, today, a couple minutes after 12:00pm, their closing time. When Alex saw me, practically in tears, and needing only 1 gallon of exterior home paint, he graciously agreed to reopen and provided me the best customer service ever. I know this store almost exclusively serves contractors, and trade folks, so Alex going out of his way for a $50 sale from one lone homeowner, well that went WAY above and beyond. Thank you, thank you, thank you Alex! Sherwin Williams is now the ONLY place I'll ever go for paint.”
