The customer service at Rack Attack is incredible! The staff are very knowledgeable but are not aggressively trying to sell you something you don’t want or need. The whole experience of buying a rack and a kayak lift assist was made super easy and convenient!

Great store, a whole back they installed a trailer hitch on my van, it went perfect and have had no issues. Today replaced a rack that was stolen, they were the only store with the exact model I wanted in the area. REI had a three week lead on the same item, very grateful to be riding sooner than that! Highly recommended!

I had a warranty issue with a Yakima RoadShower and Michael went above and beyond my expectations to help me resolve. He stuck with me, assisted in trying to repair a defective part and interfaced with Yakima directly to help. Daniel at Yakima was also very supportive in replacing the entire RoadShower. I purchased the Thule XT XXL from Rack Solid for our ski trips to Tahoe and other resorts. The staffs are very experienced and patient. Price is competitive. Product is well built. Will definitely buy there again.

Buying a roof rack system for your car can be a confusing experience. It was for me, at least until I contacted Rack Solid in Berkeley. Their techs are very knowledgeable , pleasant , do not give you a " hard sell"and provide very good service. I was able to schedule an installation with 1 day's notice and they did an excellent job of installing the rack, orienting me to it's use, and helping make use of parts from my old rack system. I recommend Rack Solid. As their name suggests, they run a " solid" business.

Rack solid is awesome! They had a Yakima part I needed that was out of stock everywhere else. And when I had an issue installing it, I brought it in to the S.F. location, and they helped me figure it out. Come here for your roof rack needs - you won’t regret it!

Excellent service! I came here for a consultation and was given really great advice for what to look for as well as a solid deal (confirmed with double checking other websites and stores after their quote). Michael helped me out from the beginning to end -- I followed the instructions as well as a video tutorial for the setup but got stuck (literally) on one of the steps. I came by the store half an hour before closing, came across Michael again, and he helped me out no problem and really graciously. Additionally, when I stopped by to pick-up my order, I almost forgot a part of my order as I was loading up my car, and one of the associates brought it out for me. I think initially the staff can appear rude, but if you just show them a positive attitude and see them as a human being, they return the positive attitude.

Solid staff and customer service. I had a sleeping child in the car, couldnt get out. Made a phone call, paid by phone and they brought out my crossbar kit to me. Solid people and highly recommend. Ive been here for other racks and parts and have always had a pleasant experience.

I drove up from San Diego for an install appointment only to have them tell me they wouldn't do it because it was raining and it made it harder. Don't trust anything they promise you. Wasted trip.
