Wow. Great team and nice nails, but the lady at the front desk is just so incredibly rude we had to take our business somewhere else. They should hire someone new! Every time she is flat, course, eye rolling and bizarre. Not the professional you'd expect for a place thats really trying to hold down North Berkeley.

They do a nice manicure but don't know how to use the Dazzle Dry product. Instead of the polish lasting 10-12 days (as it had previously from another salon) - it lasted barely 2 days before chipping at the edges. Can't afford a manicure that has to be redone every few days.

They did a great job and were friendly but this place is extremely overpriced. $107 for a regular manicure and pedicure is ludicrous.

Best pedicure I’ve gotten in awhile! The foot massage included in the deluxe service was well worth it. The salon was clean and peaceful, nothing felt rushed, and two weeks later the polish is still in great shape. Will definitely return.

My dad and I get mani-pedis at Solemates once a month and it is our FAVORITE salon. Look no further for a calm, clean, inviting, friendly, detail-oriented nail salon. Five stars!

Got gel manicure. Lady was very nice. My gels lasted about two weeks.

Too expensive for the service you get. $50 plus the obligated tip for a regular pedicure. Not worth it :/

I've been going to Solemates for 13 years and the team of professionals there has always taken excellent care of me. They are caring, use clean tools, and do a great job with both the massage and the polish. The price is worth it. This team deserve to earn a living wage, which can't be easy in the Bay Area. They offer more than a pedicure, they offer a break from real life.

The folks at Solemates take good care of you. I always leave feeling relaxed and lovely. My feet look so much better since I started going to Solemates. The Sole Survivor pedicure is worth every penny. It's always a treat to go to Solemates.
