Tl;dr - I'm only writing this review because Target needs more staff if they are going to maintain half the aisles under lockdown. Otherwise, it's going to become not worth shopping here.I shop here frequently because I live in the neighborhood. It is well stocked for its size and it's great for families in terms of the kid aisles and general household, personal care items. The staff are typically very helpful and nice. I understand why they've put so many aisles behind locked cases, but they need more staffing. It's impossible to shop quickly in this store anymore, rendering its former "convenience" for less so. It takes 10 minutes and upwards to get something basic like toothpaste unlocked. The only solution is adding more staff if the locked aisles are staying in place.

Prices are high, store is crammed. Parking lot is crammed and the store is crammed full of Karen's in a rush. It's mostly self checkout. The service counters should not be so close the self check out lines. It creates a problem for customers trying to leave. I couldn't browse through the entire store because I couldn't find any deals, I will say they were pretty well stocked. Long story short, I wouldn't recommend this particular target for anyone. It's poorly designed and the vibe is way off. Everyone is bumping into each other and you'll have to walk up and down an awkward set of steps to get in and or out. Another sad attempt of targer to make a store out of a previous brick and mortar location that is not designed for shopping.

Great service and prices when they have items.Marked down because some stores don't have common items. And can't find a store with all items.

Useless employees. If you don’t know something you need to ask someone. Don’t just make up nonsense because you don’t feel like doing your job. I was inconvenienced and lost money because your staff lied and told me you don’t sell certain products only to come back and see that you DO infact sell said product. ?wow

Terrible customer service. Needed help in the tech dept. Was told by staff that someone would come to the tech dept and help me. No one came. Went up front and was told again that someone would come over. No staff came to help me with my television purchase. So I left and won't be coming back. Maybe for a juice bar, but not to buy a 40" flat screen television.

More like a large Walgreens with clothes than a target, but still a nice store and the staff was friendly

No carts at a non-busy time puts a damper on picking up more than a hand basket full. No wheels on the hand baskets.Store was clean and pretty well stocked.

I checked the website for a product I needed and the website said they had 6 units of the product at Target in Berkeley, I drove from San Francisco to Berkeley, the traffic was horrible. When I arrived at the store the employee told me that they did not have any units.Such a disrespect with the customer. Since I drove from far away to pick up the product I needed.Extremely poorly organized store.I really would like to have some answer from the manager!

Items consistently scan at a higher price than listed on the shelf. The first time, I thought it was just a mistake in their inventory. I check the price on the shelf, and then noticed that the self checkout rang it up 50 cents higher. I had to wait in a separate line for a person, and they honored the price on the shelf. Not a big deal, but I certainly don't want to be forced to check every single item every single time.On the next trip, I pick up some Triscuits. And they rang up 40 cents higher than listed on the shelf. This time, I just left without purchasing. What are the odds that I pick two consecutive items that have a shelf price mismatch?I get that in the digital age, the shelf stickers are a pain to keep up to date. Target adjusts their in-store prices quite frequently. In their system, they were able to see the cheaper price, but only after I requested a "price match guarantee" (that term infuriates me when it is a price listed on the shelf in the same store where I am currently shopping). All the employees I spoke to were professional and considerate. But if you are a price shopper, I suggest some place other than Target on University.

The cvs staff , always a problem filling a prescription, close the pharmacy a half and hour in advance. More than three times I experienced it ( even I called and talk to the pharmacy , to be sure they were going to be open)
